Cometh the hour...

Day 2,306, 23:16 Published in Australia Australia by Mongoosier

Well I always wanted to be a media baron so let's see how it goes.

First, I guess, a little introduction to your newest correspondent. Although I seem like an oldy, being eborn way back in 2008, I didn't really do much back then and hadn't visited eAus again until a few weeks back.

This time around something caught my interest and I've been a regular lurker ever since. So now I'm sticking my head above the parapet to see what happens.

It seems I've returned at a tumultuous time for the great nation of eAustralia. First we were beset by invading devils swarming over our lands. Then those lands, our once proud home, were traded around like cheap trinkets to keep other power hungry nations happy, Sirius have led us a merry dance for months and we are being treated as mere pawns when the future of our homeland is decided.

As if that wasn't enough, we've now turned on each other, as senior politicians trade insults in the public forums, our CP has gone AWOL and our Senate seems not to have even noticed.

Tough times, of that there is no doubt.

As far as this inexperienced observer can see, we have no hope of defeating the enemy without until we have some sort of harmony internally. Whilst passion is vital, and arguments in the heat of the moment are inevitable, ongoing bickering and grudges will do nothing but harm our prospects of getting out of this.

We may be in the middle of some hard times, with powerful enemies unfolding devious plans for our land. But plans can unravel and, with strong leadership, we can and must be ready to take advantage of any opportunities that come our way.

Now more than ever we need unity, and honest and frequent communication from Cabinet, to ensure that eAussies are pulling in the same direction and ready to strike when needed.

Our new CP would not have wanted to be handed the job like this I'm sure but it's there and has to be dealt with. Time will tell, but this paper wishes him every success and luck over the coming days and weeks. Too many people have put in too much effort for things to fall apart now.

And to all ecitizens, young and ol😛 don't give up, be strong, remember what makes this nation great, stay active and be ready to fight.

Your country needs you now more than ever.
