Thing is, you're discrediting a candidate, saying him being voted in will bring eSouth Africa back down. Now if you WEREN'T the president, then I wouldn't have no problems with this. However, there's a BIG difference between voicing an opinion and outright attacking a candidate while being CP.

I wrote this on in my personal newspaper, I never said anywhere that I said this as president. There is a distinct difference between me in my position as president and me, giving my personal opinion about a matter.

I mean, you say Grim will try to work for more than just Gauteng, Gauteng just being the priority, but fail to mention that Champ is not going to prioritize all 6 regions on his thing, and may very well work WITH Brazil to get a select few of those regions listed.

I staying out of this, but it cannot be denied that Fhaemita is biased towards Grimstone in this and that he did sign it as being President. 🙂 Good luck to both candidates anyhow! Both are very good, both I would be happy to see running the country. However, Champinator gets my vote as I would like to see some knew blood and new ideas at this fresh start in our country.

If I were to chose between Grimstone and Champinator now, I'd go for Grim. You know why? Because I'm assuming Stryke Blayde and Tenshibo are going to be in Champinator's cabinet. Now if I couple that with the fact that the Champ himself isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer and factor in the goody-two shoes attitude you've been sportin, I come to the conclusion that eSA would be shit out of luck and jolly well fucked under the reign of Champinator. Therefore I would opt for Grimstone simply by process of elimination.

See where taking the moral high-ground in a distinctly annoying fashion gets you?

@Dreamer: acutally, you are wrong about the cabinet. If Grim win's, I will be in his cabinet (he already asked me) and if Champ wins, I told him not to give me a spot since we're pals. FM is 100% entitled to his opinion, and he can even say it as CP. I have backed a candidate when I was still CP and no-one bitched then.

Think of a RL example. Lets say we a have a RL SA Pres that is from the ANC, and at elections there is a DA Presidential candidate and a ANC Candidate running. Do you really thing the President will not support the ANC candidate. Of course he will.

If people say that FM cannot support his chosen candidate then he cannot:
- Have the party that he is PP of back Grimstone for CP
- We can't have CP's run for consecutive terms as the candidate would still be CP and it would be wrong to post a platform/manifesto backing himself/herself
- We cannot have a CP who has an opinion

I don't think you did, so this isn't quite the same. I understand party politics, I'm tolerable of a CP supporting his own party(even if I believe a CP should be unaligned during his/her term in the better interests of the country). To do what Fhae did is simply......not democratic whatsoever.

I have no idea what is wrong with a president stating his opinion. Frost did it in the USA and there was barely any uproar. It happens in Real life almost everyday. Mark's analogy is 100% spot on, Kgalema Motlanthe most definitely endorsed Zuma. Whether you support him or not, he is free to say whatever he wants. You are right, I am entitled to my opinion as president and it does happen in real life like you made clear. This happends everywhere in erep and even in eSA in the past. But when I do it and it is against one of their friends it's suddenly not allowed. I'm opposed to people that wish to challenge people on every little thing. I will tell someone they are wrong when they are wrong, but there are also different levels of wrong. All presidents make mistakes, but you and your cronies seem bent of exposing every single little mistake that the CP makes.
