Backstabber, what is that?

In recent time I can hear that some players (accent is on some) from eSpain & ePoland are yelling to us - backstabbers. What kind of term is that? Croats are not familiar with that word.


That is why I’m writing in English, because I know that Croat will not give me an explanation what a backstabbers is...


Is that someone who is a real friend for a long time and bleeded for those friends at slightest call for help?

Is that someone whose honor is much much bigger than his material aspirations?

Is that someone whose entire nation is ready for bankruptcy and starvation so that he colud stand beside his friend in need?

Is that someone who wanted liberation of his friend and neighbor when other neighbor didn’t want to even hear about that?

Is that someone who is willing to travel whole world just to be with a friend in need?

Is that someone who didn’t want to turn their back to a friend even though he was lured by association with the strongest nations?

Is that someone who was abandoned by his recent friends, friends who embraced yesterdays enemy?


If that is a backstabber, then yes, I’m a backstabber!
