3.2 New Citizens
eRepublik can be a bit of a challenge when a new person joins the game. (I can still remember I pester WoShi every now and then for advise.) Which is why it is important for eSingapore to set up a robust infrastructure to cater and help new players to know their way round and to help them understand the basis mechanics of the game. The new citizen message surely needs to be reviewed for any possible changes and removal of obsolete details. It should be comprehensive but at the same time it also needs to be short and clear!

3.2.1 Guides had been written by some of our few senior eSingaporeans a while ago, Department of Policy Assurance (DoPA) will be tasked to refine and improve on the guides from there. The details of the guide will be posted in erep wiki. The "page" in the erep wiki will acts as a central hub for new players.

3.2.2 A mentor &/or buddy groups will be set up . Monitoring of new citizens will executed by the Department of Strategic Planning (DoSP) which will pair up new citizens to hearty "volunteers" to guide them along. It is a cohesive effort, the government will be be roping in with party presidents and company owners into this... it is after all... gov benefit.. so does companies. A spreadsheet will also be set up and maintained for newcomers if they ever need some Q and A. Additional channels like forum and IRC will also be leverage so that new players could interact and talk with other players online.

3.2.3 35G will be allocated for the supply of food and gifts to new citizens with low wellness. However, this shall not be treated as a long term solution and citizens should not be dependent on it and mismanaged their wellness. To prevent the system being abused, criteria for free food and wellness will be set (and anyone whom does not meet the requirement, gifts or food application will be determined on a case by case basis. This constitutes 100% of MOCs’s total budget.

3.2.4 Recruitment of new citizens. Will be advertising eSingapore in social networking sites in hopeful of new citizens.
