3.2 Ministry of Corporate Services (MoCs)

3.2.1 Manpower Allocation
MoCs will be headed by Timmy Aquinas.

3.2.2 !!
This ministry will be headed by Tommy Aquinas. The directorates of MOCs are as follows: Department of Policy Assurance, Financial Reporting and Strategic Planning.

>> Department of Policy Assurance (DoPA)
Policies, Standards and Guidelines exist to provide direction and guide us in providing an organized and efficient government. DoPA will lead the development and implementation of various policies for the government and also making the appropriate revisions to ensure that all government policies remain relevant and current.

Department of Financial Reporting (DoFR)
DoFR prepares and monitor the daily government revenue daily together with the budget figures. DoFR will also be responsible of coordinating the printing of SGD and providing analysis and insights of the monetary market. Basically, DoFR had been tasked to maintain the “books” &/or “accounts” of eSingapore and it involves collaboration of the various ministries and departments. It is also responsible to draft, maintain and manage the preexisting contracts agreements.

For the month of June, DoFR aims to:

Reorganize of eSingaporean Assets
By conducting organizations checks on eSingapore government current assets and currencies to have a actual figure of eSingapore’s government financial health so as to budget our numbers accurately and transparently. Currencies with small amount will be converted to Gold as it’s a waste of resources to leave it idling. All government owned companies will be renamed for easier identification.

New Citizens
eRepublik can be a bit of a challenge when a new person joins the game. (I can still remember I pester WoShiEmpire every now and then for advise.) Which is why it is important for eSingapore to set up a robust infrastructure to cater and help new players to know their way round and to help them understand the basis mechanics of the game? The new citizen message surely needs to be reviewed for any possible changes and removal of obsolete details. It should be comprehensive but at the same time it also needs to be short and clear!

Guides had been written by some of our few senior eSingaporeans a while ago, Department of Policy Assurance (DoPA) will be tasked to refine and improve on the guides from there. The details of the guide will be posted in eRepublik wiki and acts as a central hub for new players.

A mentor &/or buddy groups will be set up . Monitoring of new citizens will executed by the Department of Strategic Planning (DoSP) which will pair up new citizens to hearty "volunteers" to guide them along. It is a cohesive effort, the government will be roping in with party presidents and company owners into this... it is after all... government benefit.. so does companies. A spreadsheet will also be set up and maintained for newcomers if they ever need some Q and A. Additional channels like forum and IRC will also be leverage so that new players could interact and talk with other players online.

35G will be allocated for the supply of food and gifts to new citizens with low wellness. However, this shall not be treated as a long term solution and citizens should not be dependent on it and mismanaged their wellness. To prevent the system being abused, criteria for free food and wellness will be set (and anyone whom does not meet the requirement, gifts or food application will be determined on a case by case basis. This constitutes 100% of MOCs’s total budget.

Recruitment of new citizens. Will be advertising eSingapore in social networking sites in hopeful of new citizens.

Taxes
DoSP will be conducting a review on the current tax rates and tabled the results and recommends to both the congress and government committees.

V2 Preparation
In preparation for v2.0, DoSP wll be exploring a series of strategic initiative which more details will be communicated as we roll out the changes in phases. The soon to be implemented v2.0 is also an opportune time for us to reorganize, and strengthen our capabilities; so that when the inevitable comes, we are even better-positioned to forge ahead. Making eSingapore into a more holistic and integrated regional society be it in military or economically. We recognize that change is sometimes unsettling and we seek your commitment and support to help us drive this transformation successfully.

At the end of the day, all these will not be possible without the involvement of our citizens. Where we are today and where we will be tomorrow all lies in the collective effort and teamwork of our citizens. We will be counting on each and every one of you to rise to the occasion, and do your part to ensure the success of eSingapore.


4. NATIONAL GOALS

I will be putting up conservative figures for the national goals in eRepublik. The “Monuments” are CUTE. The targeted national goals which I want and hope to achieve is presented below:

Targeted 2 - 3 Well, lost for words actually as we all know we are very much restricted in the money we have. We will be targeting a 2% GDP increase (I would hope for a 3😵. If we look at the statistic shown in eRepublik we had seldom reached a 2% increase at all.

With the soon to be implemented v2.0, preparation starts today (although it might take awful months for admin to implement it). To be inline with v2.0, the government will be diversifying &/or liquidating some of its properties.

Society (Population)

Targeted 1.5 In light of the amount of citizenships which our prestigious congressmen could grant, the targeted 1.5% might seem to be a little too low.

However, we do need to consider the amount of citizens which is going to “die” and of course we could not any how let in anyone. We will continue to improve on the immigration process (with due diligence checks) and hopefully we will be welcoming more people with our open arms.

We will also be proactively promoting eSingapore in other parts of eWorld. Please note that this is an eCountry-wide effort. The government cannot do this alone, every citizens is our walking signage for eSingapore.
