Welcome to the first edition of Ambassador Update! Each week we will publish condensed versions of the reports from Norway’s ambassadors to the New World. Only a few countries are in this edition because we are still looking for more ambassadors. Canada
Hammaburg
eCanada is member of EDEN and one our greatest allies.
The military contains the CAF Regulars (mobile troops, around 200 soldiers), the Reserves (member of congress or just people who don’t want to move, around 120), and the Rangers (academy, around 100 soldiers).
There are no direct threats atm.
They have one of the strongest currencies in the world due to their 3 high raw materials.
eCanada is also trying to make a babyboom.

Germany
Hammaburg
eGermany is member of Phoenix and our enemy, the chances they would leave this alliance are close to zero, after Poland totally took over their regions.
Their government is currently working on the regaining of their regions.
Military: The Bundeswehr contains 2 different kinds of soldiers, first the regular army unit, the Expetitionkorps, there are several of them and they are stationed in Heilongjiang atm.
The reserves spread out all over the world after the fall of Saarland, many are now in the UK or Russia.
There is not much more to say, they are currently working on a babyboom and try to get their new citizen out of Poland.

Greece

Their MoFA is Baglamas. He seems like a nice guy. The Greeks make use of their IRC a lot. They are currently fighting a war against Turkey and it seems to be for two reasons. 1. The lulz 2. Greeks hate Turks. The Greeks use emoticons a lot and are a very happy people. They asked me for loans.

Poland
Poland is part of the Eden Alliance.
The are currently experiencing a large babyboom which has made them the highest populated country in eRepublik. Due to all the citizen fees they currently have zero tax income.
Poland has about 15k fights daily. They have conquered Germany and are currently attacking the UK, mostly for fun.


Romania

Romania is a highly militarized nation. They have 6 military branches, Q5 hospitals in all regions, and Q5 defense systems. They are well organized and it makes them a strong military force. Most citizens are responsive and they have a very good and active forum. It makes them a strong nation.

Sweden
A week ago Sweden had around 1,500 gold, 180,000 SEK, and other currencies stolen from their bank. It is unclear who the culprit is, but Sweden has since received all their money back.
Sweden is raising their taxes to improve the economy. They have experienced a babyboom of suspected multies and have lowered their citizen fee to prevent a loss of state income. One of their parties was also PTOed in the recent party president election.

Switzerland

eSwitzerland has been PTO´d by a Russian group called "Shaolin".
They currently have 50% in congress and it is almost impossible for the government to get anything voted through congress.
The army isn’t really organized, they receive weapons once in a while and stay in Switzerland, haven’t heard that they ever moved out yet.
Switzerland is a close ally of France, though it is member of EDEN and actually our ally.
Still they decided to declare war against France but failed on voting it through.
eSwitzerland currently has 350 citizens and only a very few active ones.

USA
Mink Deadly
President Jewitt (United Independents Party) was elected to a second term last election. He REALLY seems to like Stephen Colbert.
His goals: Increase population by 2%, control 4 new regions in the UK (which seems to be a joke), and increase the GDP by 3%.
Congress is currently controlled by a plurality: AAP with 22 seats, USWP with 12, Libertarians and Federalists with 10, Conservatives with 2. The AAP, USWP, Libs, and Feds all describe themselves as Center-Left Libertarian parties, where the Conservatives are a right-wing entity.
eUSA controls all 50 states, 1 regions outside of CONUS, (Karnataka).
The US Dollar is running relatively high in value in comparison to the NOK (1 G = around 36 USD).
The eUSA's GDP is currently 4994 G, which is 4th in the eWorld.
Currently, America has an embargo on Serbia, which expires in 16 days.
Import/export ratio is even, indicating that their economy is remarkably stable. Taking over Karnataka is a BIG help to this.
Inflation is at -14.45%, due to the stability of the economy as shown above.
The eUSA has been working to give back their regions in China and appear to have no intention of giving back their hold on the Indonesian region of Karnataka.
