ALP-AHC Merger Updates & Regarding the Examiner

Day 3,141, 05:30 Published in Armenia Iran by Anthony Buchanan

The Armenian Labour Party and the AHC has allowed Anthony to be the new party leader of the new ALP. However, the 2 soon-to-be merged political parties will choose someone from the AHC to be Vice President of the new ALP. While other positions for the new ALP will be decided by the ALP & AHC leaders. We hope that the merger process would be completed by the end of July so that by August, the new ALP would emerge as eArmenia's largest political party.

Meanwhile, the Armenia Examiner(the only independent national newspaper in eArmenia) is currently facing a decline again in readership bringing the readership decreased from 25 to 18(this means that the Examiner has lost 7 subscribers) and the reason for this is because people didn't like the newspaper aligned with the AFP after the party start to have relations with the AFP and that the party began a long process of rebuilding its reputation of serving the interests of eArmenia. So to avoid the decline of readers, the Examiner will adopt a mixed news-hybrid/tabloid-hybrid format so that readers in eArmenia can fast-paced news updates at anytime of day. That way, the Examiner will still be a newspaper that's created by eArmenians for eArmenians. We will still figure out plans for the new Examiner in the next couple of days.
