A Hessian in Exile

Day 544, 04:29 Published in Germany Germany by herrmueller

A new newspaper
A new newspaper called Der Exilhesse has been founded in eGermany. Will this help to improve the current situation in that country, where several hours can go by without anyone publishing anything? The general public seems to be quite indifferent for now. Founder herrmueller has been overheard saying "We'll see, I guess".

eSweden ante portas?
eGermans hold their breath while the eSweden situation apparently still hangs in the balance. There has been no information regarding this from the eGerman government for many days now, with the public slowly getting restless.

At the same time, eGerman Chancellor Starkad Rorlikson has given rise to new concerns with a recent comment to a newspaper article in which he urges eGermans to be ready for coming battles.

Party Takeovers
During the May 09 party elections, multiple eGerman parties were taken over by new presidents. The BU was taken by ekszer, apparently an eHungarian player. In consequence, the eGerman government is preparing for a future attempt to take over the Bundestag and has started to donate eGerman funds to Bundesbank. Further preparations are hopefully in progress, but not a matter of public discussion.

At the same time, Justin Tyme re-assumed control of the RFD in what was also a very close race, allegedly also helped by voters from outside the country. Mr. Tyme has not made any statement about his intentions, and there seems to have been no presentation along with his candidacy.

Government Transparency
With the exception of some topics which are indeed a matter of national security, a democratic government should always aim for transparency: their power is ultimately borrowed from the people, and the people therefore have a right to know what that power is used for.

We are therefore glad to observe that the eGerman Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elisa Vorimberg, has started to issue official announcements regarding current developments. Der Exilhesse sincerely hopes that this good practice will be continued and taken up by other members of her Government.
