A Dose of Reality on the French and Romanian-Russian Wars

Day 404, 14:04 Published in USA Pakistan by Chisholm

In eUSA there are two wars under much debate for the past few days, the war in France, and the Romanian-Russian war. However I think it has been too politicized for any logic to get into the arguments.

FRENCH WAR

I support troops that go to fight France when the opportunity presents itself but I think we need to realize something, we cannot defeat France with the strategy we've seen recently which appears to be blindly invade and hope Americans can fight enough. I do believe that eUSA is a stronger nation, but I don't see how we haven't yet realized that this leg of the war is lost, we were thrown back into the Atlantic and were defeated yet again when we tried to invade just two days ago. How can we keep up the illusion that we are winning? We were offered a peace treaty from the President of France and I think it was foolish to turn it down.

We need to see that with the strong support France has gathered in western Europe no one nation can defeat them, the way that the U.S has been trying to. I think ATLANTIS as a whole needs to turn it down a notch, regroup, spend some time coming up with a strategy before we even think of attacking again. It would be the wisest decision to either make peace with France and it's supporting nations or end all military actions until we have a new clear, coordinated plan that would be easy for ATLANTIS nations to enact and only then when fighting united can France and its allies fall, because I do truly think that ATLANTIS in the end is a much stronger alliance, but only when working together the way PEACE is.

ROMANIAN-RUSSIAN WAR

Just three days ago Romania declared a seemingly unprovoked attack on Russia, a nation with good relations to the U.S and many other ATLANTIS nations. What some people seem to have missed is that Romania isn't just being silly in their attack, but are in clear violation of of Article VI of the Treaty of ATLANTIS. It states:

Article VI

Aggression

1. Declarations of war
* All declarations of war by a member nation of ATLANTIS must be announced to the alliance at least 48 hours prior to declaring the war. Permission is not needed to declare war.

President Dover has stated that he received no prior knowledge to Romania's intents with Russia. The consequences of the breaking of article VI state that the offending nation must pay each other member nation 100 gold. Which I have yet to hear they did. Romania must be held responsible for its actions, as nonsensical as they may be, and can't be allowed to freely break the laws they agreed to. We can't let them get away with whatever they want because we fear hurting relations with them if so, then what prevents anyone from freely breaking the Treaty, it could jeopardize the foundations of ATLANTIS as an organization. Romania must pay up, and hopefully end the unnecessary war with Russia.

Much of these are relatively simple ideas you won't hear too often because of the wall of politics that has invaded the homes of many eCitizens.
