BLACK FRIDAY HINT:

"As you all know, the standard discount on companies (weapons and food) is 45%. To upgrade from Q1 to Q7 is 671 gold. However, with the new 50% discount it is only 610 gold. You might say "So I save 61 gold, big whoop!". What you have to remember is that when you downgrade from Q7 to Q1 you get your 610 gold back.

So, upgrade 610 gold paid, downgrade 610 gold returned.

The advantage is, if you have 1 Q7 company and a few Q1/Q2/Q3/etc companies what you can do on Friday is work your Q7 company, downgrade it, use the money to upgrade your next Q1 to Q7, work it and then downgrade it. You can use this method to work as many companies as you want all as Q7.

Even if you don't have any Q1 companies you can use this method. Let's say you have 1 Q7 company and 100 gold. You can create 10 Q1 companies with the 100 gold (or buy off the company market) and work 11 companies as Q7 (1 Q7 + 10 Q1). Remember, this is only for Friday because only then we will have this discount! 10 days later you can sell your Q1 companies on the company market and get your 100 gold back. "
