2-Clicker 2-Minute Morning Coffee Summary - 10 August

Day 629, 04:40 Published in USA USA by Zheng He

The war was a bit quieter over the weekend, but we made some significant gains at the expense of some strategically less important losses.

After holding Missouri, Alabama and Mississippi on Saturday, Russia conquered Missouri, Portugal conquered Alabama, and Indonesia conquered Mississippi yesterday. In addition, Russia conquered Michigan and Portugal conquered Maryland. As of this morning, Portugal is attacking Delaware, Russia is attacking Illinois. Surprisingly Indonesia is currently not attacking us anywhere.

We also have signed peace treaties with eItaly and eIreland, which should encourage their players to fight on our behalf.

The eDoD asked citizens to fight in Greece over the weekend, where Turkey had invaded to steal iron reserves, which we badly need. We also helped Canada return from the dead by winning Resistance Wars (RWs). If you haven't already, you should probably subscribe to the DoD Orders.

A common question is why does the DoD want us to "hold our fire until our last login of the day"? This is hard for us 2-clickers, especially if we're morning people. But the new administration is much more open than the past, and their reasoning is sound. By afternoon in the US, we have a better idea of how the battles are playing out so we can use our attacks more effectively. Also, if our enemies fight-retreat-and fight again, we still have our strength to hold off the second attack.

Tomorrow: what is PEACE, anyway?

Have a great Monday, coffee drinkers!
