A few months ago they worked diligently to install a Democratic Dictator for eUSA. By doing this the claim by a majority of these players is that we’re protected from hostile takeover. What takeover you might ask?
There was a Political Take Over (PTO) attempt on The United States Workers Party (USWP) during the Party President elections today.

Even the meta government got involved in calling in votes to prevent a PTO.

2. There is no law in place to reset determination for a Dictator/CP.
3. There are laws to punish people who fight against the lawfully installed Dictator/Country President. However, this law does not punish a player who owns a Military Unit and starts a Civil War.
4. I ran for Country President 10-15 days ago and made a statement about how dictatorships are bad for our little community, mmmk?

tl;dr? A Democratic Dictatorship kills even meta-gaming activity as you can see that nothing has been done to address numbers 1-3.

Another annoying factor is if you even participate on the eusa forum you get your posts removed if you advertise erepublik stuff, like an article for example, but do not give the courtesy of posting the text in the forum itself. Is that ridiculous? I think so. If people are too lazy to click the link that takes them to the game for which the forum was created then why the hell are we even meta-gaming on a forum?
Say what you will about that, but imo that’s just silly.
6. Apparently, there are WMDs in eSerbia or something, and we must always be on guard in case THREE comes around to wipe eUSA like ONE and TWO did.
Wake up. Our foreign affairs are solid tight because we had a Country President who worked for a year to get everyone in the Asteria alliance. xp

1. Let the Civil War dethrone the Dictator so the Country President can finally do his job and get a new citizen message out to our new players, address the other crap I mentioned…
or
2. Spend citizen’s tax money to defend a Dictator module where determination gives the advantage to the Civil War fighters and the leaders of eUSA essentially end up paying more than 200,000cc to fight this Civil War I started.
I’m no math major, but a determination reset for a ‘lawful CP/Dictator’ would seem logical considering the law is protecting the country from foreign threats. Oh, and we used to do determination resets on regions we rented in the past and no one seemed to fuss about that. So what’s another 200,000cc to re-install a Dictator versus the stupid amounts the government may spend fighting this Civil War?

I approached the country on election day saying I would address these issues if elected to Country President.

Yes because 4.xx determination surely makes a whole difference compared to 100000.xx determination. I'm not a hardliner against WJ, but that's a poor argument. We could have ridden the determination buildup for years.

The point of having a Dictator is that any foreign coup will need first to start a Revolution, which will give us 10 days to prepare.

I was thoroughly entertained in game the past few days.
Im usually considered the one in the middle between these camps as I am friends with both WookyJack and Trekker. I completely agree with WookyJack on many points, a lrime example is when stuff in the feds and in the national leaderships rejected just about everything I worked on proposal wise I have since been on far more rarely then throughout my return to the meta realm back about a year ago. For about the entirety of 2014 I was one of the most active people in the country and during the winter I was told just calm down and wait til we " fix " things but as the " rush " of new summer players began everything I suggested and proposed was rejected so for the second time I came to feel the crap put on by a lot in power now a days.
Right now we are pretty ####ing weak as a unit and need to pull up our boot straps and actually do somethings. I have been out of work for 3 weeks and thanks to all that has happened in 2015 so far I have lost interest. Myself and far more others would be willing to put forth more effort if only it was not harassed. So if you guys want things fixed lets actually do something useful and do some major shake ups. We are all at fault and I feel the pain WookyJack is talking about ... we are nothing like we once were so get off you butt and move them dang keys!!!!

You come off pretty petty here. You lost an election that you made a referendum on whether the country wanted a dictator or not. The majority of the country spoke in that election and chose to keep the dictator in place. You and your party don't like the dictator and by doing this you in the minority are trying to force your views on the majority who had already decided in the election you lost that they wanted a dictator. That flies in the face of what you people have been ranting about for months now. You could have done the right thing and worked harder to change opinions and minds until you were in the majority. In reality there is no difference in what you did and what an enemy of the country would do. You removed what a majority of the country wanted to keep. Very poor character. Hopefully people remember the bad character shown and you never win election.

I believe I had a right to protest my government for their inactions and inadequacies regarding the meta-law they hastily ratified a few months ago. You can blame me all you want but the message is what's most important in a Democracy. The SFP did not make a decision to do this, I acted on my own accord. Do not slander their good name. I was in SEES. A quick check of my friends list and you will notice that my first additions to that list were the SEES leadership and members sadly all dead now. I was thinking along the lines of...
what this Overthrow means-- the Elites say we're open to attack by Serbia and the rest of the world. since the Dictatorship couldn't pull together a defense, will America be able to pull together a defense against such an attack?
will the Elites run another campaign to reinstate their Dictator when the ten days runs out, or is that too close to the next POTUS election, or does that matter?
what about Congress...? now that the People have spoken (with bullets, the loudest voice we have), will Congress reconsider their pro-Dictator law, or... is this another case where the people don't know what's best, and Congress will once again be led by their collective noses to defend and maintain their rubber stamp of the Elites' Dictatorship position?
