Power-hungry and corrupt are among the first words I would use to describe you. That being said, if that was all the Shaved Beaver situation was about, I would have been perfectly content to keep your power-hungry, corrupt ass out of the top 5.

As it happens, I am concerned about keeping a dangerous element from gaining political power and causing harm to eCanada, as they had done in the past. It is thus necessary to keep that element out of a position where they have the potential to cause such harm.

I never claimed I wasn't, but the situation was definitely about security and not power.

We could of filled the congress list for the Shaved Beaver with loyal outstanding citizens. I know plenty of people around here that like Shaved Beaver unlike yourself who rejects the Beaver all together.

It wouldn't matter, there would be at least 20 plus PTOers concentrated in a single Top Five party.

They left UF in the same circumstance, they would leave the Beaver as well. This would of been a replay of what happened last time.

False, they left UF because they had a leader. Without someone to follow they would have probably stayed around until they figured out a way to take control themselves.

SGTRock is a fine soldier doing an unpleasant job he was asked to do. No doubt he will come under fire from certain individuals for his current role. If his attackers want to take issue with his presence there, they can address their concerns to me directly, because I'm the one who asked him to step in.

For the record, I have no pressing concern about the PM thread going public. It started out rather curt and abrupt, which is an approach I believe I am somewhat known for, and I came in with some flawed information and presented it poorly.

It did seem as though you were gathering Pickle's Patriots into the party, but after reviewing PM threads and media articles, that "gathering" was not as direct as I had believed it to be. In truth, you had put out an "open call" to join your party with the hilarious name, and a number of Pickles responded to it of their own volition.

Other than that, I stand by the statements I made in it, and do not believe that having them go public will do much to damage my reputation. I'd rather it not come to that - it was, after all, not an open-door discussion - but I have nothing to hide.

Agreed about SGTRock, that is why I mention him so there is no misunderstanding. Anyone saying saying otherwise is totally off base.

I still don't have a good enough reason to post anything that was said. I appreciate your explanation though. You are correct, there was no coercion on my part. People (not all of them pickles) joined the party of their own volition. I ran the numbers and (as I explained in the PM) still believe that the situation was contained. Also as several have pointed out recently, DMV did the same thing with United Front when he made it the SUFFER party.

That is neither here nor there. We've talked, we understand each others position on this matter. Not to do him any favour but I do think that DWB was thrown under the bus by Dennis. In any case, I'm looking squarely at DMV3.
