Today, I awakened to a bright morning, with promises of further brightness to come. Just as, after the winter solstice, the days gradually get brighter, I hope for an ever-brighter renewal for eJapan. It will not be the work of a single day, or a single week, or even a single month. But for as long as I can, I wish to put my own energy behind that effort, so that we can look forward to a bright and verdant Spring.

I am truly honored to be elected President of our country of eJapan. As the day goes on I will announce my Cabinet, and more of my plans to renew our country. I thank each and every one of you -- those who voted for myself and those who voted for my opponent. My hope is to represent all of eJapan, and for anyone who would like to talk about the future of our country, my door is always open.
