[Sluagh] Do You Need A Leader?

Day 2,777, 10:15 Published in Ireland South Korea by An Sluagh

Citizens of the Republic,

This is my official announcement that I am seeking to run for Country President for the month of July. I am asking for your vote of confidence and here is why:

I am a Statesman.

Within the past year alone I have served as a congress member several times and had been Minister of Defence for roughly one year without stopping. I ran for Country President and was successful for the first time (after several attempts!). My first term was a success and I was elected for a second term. Since then I have served as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Throughout this time, during our spell in Aurora I represented our nation diligently and well securing and strengthening our relations with several nations. I was so active within Aurora HQ that I was elected deputy Supreme General twice and was also elected Supreme Commander.

I work for eIreland and I continue to do so to the best of my ability.

Within the past year, I have been heavily involved in shaping the nation that we have today. Here are a handful of the projects I have been heavily involved in:

[1.] I was Minister of Defence for both the Chinese and Moldavian invasions and through coordination with our allies freed our regions in speedy times.

[2.] I coordinated and signed the Treaty of Mayo which saw Irish and Macedonian relations be strengthened as we gave them a region free of charge to enable them receive congress, a luxury for them.

[3.] South Korea was a nation that we hardly even thought of. However I began to open dialogue with their Government and within a week had struck a deal with them that would see them airstrike us so that they could get themselves congress, again a luxury to this nation who had been well over a year without congress. Unfortunately this deal was not favoured by parts of the eIrish public and South Korea did not land.

[4.] I also signed the Treaty of Limerick which would see us engage in war games with eIsrael. Unfortunately due to a MTO threat in their own nation, they were unable to focus on the airstrike leading to them not landing.

[5.] I also signed and coordinated the Tri-Leaf Agreement which saw eIreland and eCanada engage in friendly war games. These were a great success and ran smoothly.

[6.] With my assistance, we entered into Avalon. This was an agreement between eIreland, eUnited Kingdom and eCanada in which we would protect each other from any MTO threat and ensure that each nation would follow the path it so desired with regard to the Dictator Module.

[7.] For the best past of three years, we've always wanted a babyboom but we never gave it a full hearted attempt. As Country President, I actively pursued an attempt and gathered real-life capital. This was not as successful as we had hoped but we tried.

[8.] One of the first acts I performed as Minister of Defence was the reintroduction of Coordinated National Strikes. This saw eIrish citizens gather at one time to receive free weapons and fight together as one regardless of any political or military ties.

[9.] I also played a fundamental part in lowering our taxes to allow our citizens benefit from the lowest possible taxation available in this game. My plan was for eIrish citizens to have more wealth in their own pockets whilst also attracting foreign buyers to buy eIrish products in our protected domestic market.

I have already sought out a cabinet and am only awaiting the reply off one person. My proposed cabinet is as follows:

Taoiseach - An Sluagh

Prime Minister - Moomoohead

Minister of Finance - Don Croata

Minister of Defense - Releasethe Krakken

Minister of Foreign Affairs - AoifeNiBhriain

Minister of Home Affairs - *Awaiting Reply*
