I was debating with a friend whether I would try writing my failed love story with a girl we will hide in the code CM. That friend said I should try, since it is how I moved on in the past, but I am too shy to post it in a blog or in social media, so I decided to use media here in Erepublik, of which will serve as my sort of "test audience" on how people will respond (as comments or PM) to teenage love stories (Yes, I'm just turning 18, but my age had nothing to do with my administration skills). Besides, its been the holiday season.

You must understand though that I am hiding all of the persons' names in initials, including mine. Deal with it for now, since I have no time thinking of pseudonyms.

Also, congratulations to this series because it is now the top entry in Yahoo and Google when you search the worst love story of our generation. We have made a statement with your utmost support, and I thank you. I will be having some giveaways after the series ends, so don't miss it.

Thanks for making this the third top article in Philippine media for December 8, 2013. For that, I'd betray some photos now. 🙂

Her prom picture with her new boyfriend, MR. Personally, I didn't like her look there, maybe because I'm not really into girls who put on much make up. We all have our own preferences anyway. (Please do not misuse the image for bad intentions or purposes.)

Prom for my last year in high school was in February of 2012. My parents could have felt I should experience this at the least, they allowed me to come the Prom. Now, we were speculating then, if K-12 comes and the last 2 years of high school will be known as SENIOR high school, then what would the Prom be? Senior Senior Promenade? Well, some thought so, and I was one of the adherents of that idea. I don't know with you, but yes, I attended that prom.

It has been more than a year since I asked CM if she could be my date, but she now had a boyfriend. To think she said to me she's not ready yet? I forgave that thing already anyway, but I haven't forgotten. So, she's not my date in that Prom, even if I asked her through chat (and she didn't respond, as always). Naturally, she dated her boyfriend MR. Dalhin ka ba naman sa E.K., hindi ka umoo? Sa Ariana State ko lang siya kayang dalhin.

So, in the end, I asked AA, my friend from 3rd year HS and the girl I was so much linked then, but not without challenge. She made me kneel down just to ask her. Well, kneel down on gravel and sand, that is. No matter.

Its just slightly dark, gabi nga eh, but that's me and your Miss e-Philippines for 2013, AA, for the first and last prom I had in high school. No one wanted to date me then, not even KO. So there, I leave you to judge who the better couple was. One more thing, I just borrowed the hat for that photo.

Anyway, that night, I really wanted to dance with CM, even just once. We all know how loose our culture had become so you can see guys and gals dance as many as they can. Of course, I was really wishing I could be given a chance. She danced almost all her male classmates in her section this 4th year HS. Of course, she danced most of the time her bf, MR. Yun ang date niya eh. Sino pa ba?

I had two or so attempts to ask her, but I kept backing out. She was flanked by her lady friends, who lambasted me in Part 5, as well as MR and his friends. What more can I do? After dancing fast with AA during the slow dances, and vice versa, I made her sit for a while. She had her own health limitations. I also left her my coat. This time, I made the dance floor the most spacious it can be. Why?

All the chairs were covered with cloth, making these look like legs with long skirts. I took one monobloc chair with a pink and white cloth, and I actually danced with it. You could have remembered the paralyzed Mabini dancing with a wooden chair, but this is different. I'm not paralyzed, nor did I have polio (and I wish I really won't have that). For some 10 to 15 minutes, I spun, threw and caught the chair with my arms and hands. My dance could have occupied around 1/3 of the whole hall, since all have stopped and watched me. Surely CM saw that too. I purposely danced in front of her sights. I even hugged the chair.

While the crowd was beginning to cheer for me, our teachers were on the verge of becoming angry. Thus, I spun the chair from the top of my head to the floor, put it on the side, and sat with finesse. Then and there, they said something like: Andaming isasayaw dyan, yung upuan pa sinayaw mo?! Bakit? Wala bang magsasayaw sayo?

I looked at CM for a bit and sai😛 Opo, wala pong magsasayaw sakin... Di na po maulit.

The teachers walked away and I saw some of them giggling a bit. I'm their guy who breaks tradition, anyway. Still, the show wasn't over.

As the students come back to the floor and dance with their partners, I ran to the stage, which was all empty. I waved my coat away and danced like loco on the stage. I remember I was even doing a dance sort of like Gangnam Style even before it made its debut a few months later. Am I a visionary or what? Take that, Psy!

Some of the juniors who looked up on me as their campus idol, or a sort of school hero, went to the stage as well and we danced. But, we're not really synchronized. More of a freestyle dancing, and they usually just follow my moves. At first, the people near the stage ignored us. Most probably because it was dark. I had a handful of boys with me, around 4 to 6 dancing like loco as well. Then, the dancing on the floor slowly came to a stop, one by one, and they looked at us. It was around 20 to 30 minutes, and when I got tired, I went down the stage and sat with AA again, who got my coat. The juniors stopped as well.

After going back to our place near the entrance, I asked AA if I could dance anyone else. She said no. Then I appealed that its not going to be CM... though I really could have wished so. She consented, so for a few minutes, I danced AG, who was my girl classmate and dance partner in MAPEH that 4th year HS.

It was a slow dance, and hindi pa natatapos yung kanta, may sumuntok sa likod ko. It was AA. AG distanced away and apologized, so I said, "Sige, ok, thank you na lang ah. At least nakasayaw ako ng iba. Ako nga dapat magsorry."

Well, CM was sitting on one of the chairs then, talking and laughing with MR, so I sadly retired to sit with AA until I had to go home. I got tired now of pursuing CM, and I don't think she'd budge anyway. My Senior Senior Prom ended with a fast dance, when I left, 2 hours before the actual end of the prom, with no one much noticing it. AA also left the hall.

[the following are not verbatim, my memory fails at this point]

Me: (staring down as we walk out of the hall) In the end, hindi ko rin nasayaw si CM... Ganun ba talaga dapat mangyari?
AA: (looking at me, her eyes seemingly sincere) AR, nandito naman ako, ah... Ano bang meron siya, really?
Me: Baka naman masyado lang ako naging sentimental siguro... First love ko yan eh, kahit ganyan siya sakin... And kahit mukha siyang transgender ngayon.
AA: (laughs a bit) See? She's not the whole prom. Parang ikaw nga naging main event sa pinaggaga-gawa mo! Sige na, smile ka na. Nakatapos naman tayo di ba? Nakapagprom tayo... I mean, ikaw at ako.
Me: Mmm... Siguro tama ka... Salamat sa pagsama sakin dito ah. Di naman kailangan na may date, pero pumayag ka. Thank you.
AA: No problem. Now, don't worry. I'm here, okay?

And really, for those who will just have their own promenade in high school, hindi required na may date ka. Kahit nga kumain ka lang dun, pero wala kang sinayaw, sulit na eh. You paid for it, better maximize the opportunity. Isa pa, baka dun pa kayo makakilala ng bago. We'd never know... 🙂

End of Part 8

This love story lasted 4 years, 5 months, 1 week, which actually just finished a few days back. Wala na nga lang munang spoiler. Part 8 only covered 1 month. I'm not sure if I'd finish it, though. I have a busy schedule. Still, if you want the subsequent parts, I shall do my best to write it for you. Sorry if I had limited pictures. Nauubusan na nga ako. Kaya lang, wala tayong magagawa dyan eh. I may still try to give some of her images in the following parts for the sake of writing and the readers' visual pleasure (though she might really hate me more for this). My Facebook friends, though, could try search who CM really is. Just don't be cocky about it without my consent.

Most importantly, I needed the feedback. Thank you in advance.

Have a happy December ahead!
