War is fun, right?
I know many of our citizens love to fight for TP no matter what the current battle orders are. This can sometimes be counterproductive as it leads to battles being won that we don’t want.
During the Resource Wars we didn’t have a problem with this. There was almost always a battle that people could fight for TP in while not going against the battle orders. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case as we have no Training Wars currently running. So if we open a Resistance War in a region we control with the intent of losing the region, it makes things a bit harder.
After Ireland decided to close their gracious Training War with us we turned to the United Kingdom. We waited for a few days, and then received a message that they were going to put it through their Congress. After an additional two weeks we still didn't receive an answer.
So we got bored, and threw all kinds of British tea into the Boston Harbor...again.
We also NE’d the UK.
Simple as that.
Also, I caught wind of the UK actually discussing to defund their military to fund their politicians instead. This is an absolutely ridiculous idea so maybe this will show them that. Bloody idiots.

In light of new air squad introduction it's worthwhile to help medals and ranks pumping-up rather than "some" political games expenses.
A TW is when both sides agree on it.
From what I read, this is arrogant hostile action against the UK, since they didn't actually answer on the TW question.

Allow me to attempt to comment again. With regards to eUK bidnizz:
The politicians voted to pay themselves out of the treasury provided they turn up to every vote ie if they shout aye or nay roughly 12 times in a month they get to rob 5 gold from the country. A popular motion with the general public, as you can imagine.
Defunding the military specifically means removing the allocated treasury money for the National MU. The National MU has never actually used any government money that was allocated to it anyway and managed to be self sustaining because it was never really "national" in the first place. The two events aren't really related at all.
Have fun wiping us. Maybe one day you might try and fight a war that'll actually be interesting.

Yeah to clarify, even though Rob covers it nicely, eUK have taken the funding away from the national military unit, which it never took in the first place since it self supplies, our military budget is still there.
Congress paid to reward all congressmen who vote in every single vote, aye that ones ridiculous.
And you didn't even attempt to contact the eUK MoFA in all this time, who I can guarantee you would have replied to you immediately.
