[Parliament] 28th - 29th July Session

Day 3,172, 17:21 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Speaker of the House

Previous Session
Discussed 'Improve legislation for Emergency Procedures'
Speakers Response Thankyou for contributions, as ever the style of response has effected how I approach the problem, as much as the content. Initially I was thinking of a long-winded multiple tier system, but from all the responses it makes more sense to streamline to two of the the more popular and useful and to maintain the form that I used intended only as a guide for the actual legislation as it makes it easier to read and implement - which is the whole point, not creating verbose literature to weigh the government down. I'll review the legislation existing and write the small change appropriate for our needs, presenting it in the next few days as an amendment to law.

Current Session
Reminder that we are focused on war room related discussion/proposals and would like to point out that anything related to 'congress gold' will get a cold reception, it is active policy for congress, but has to be approved by the government, once done details will follow. I understand that new congress members for this month are likely driven to express an opinion on the matter, but can we keep it brief so not to drag congress through a mire it's visited a few short days ago, thanks.

Congress - Sick List
KosovoKid - Managed to go the last term without reporting in for work, but somehow remembered to run this month.

Messages were sent out to PPs asking for shouts in your party threads, but it's still your responsibility to find me for a drink before the start of congress. You'll not be in the discussion threads, and will be ill-informed. Congress threads are created weekly and/or after cabinet reshuffles.
