This is kinda a response to the Honest Welcome Article.

You are your own pilot.
Just look at the word and think about it, who controls you? nobody but you.
You are your own decision maker and nobody is to blame for your own failures.
If people give you a chance to do something take the chance don't throw it away. When you want to participate do participate and if you want to change something go ahead and make that change reality. but don't blame the people who discuss about it, don't blame the people who helped you. its a weakness. you don't talk down to the hands that feed you either, you don't talk down to your teacher because his subject happens to be your least favourite. boohoo just suck it up and do it, just do it. you are your own pilot, you decide what you do and you decide how you do it. nobody is to blame for the way you do things and nobody is to blame for you not doing anything with the opportunities you receive. anyone who is big today piloted their ow lives, wrote their own stories, and were not dictated by others like you claim to be. the world is hard and big it wont soften up for you. Again, you are your own pilot and nobody else, don't condensate on anyone who tried to help you. you made your own decision.

Well the original article at least made an avalanche of comments. So the community over here is far from dead 😃 . It also contained really interesting comments.
This is truly outrageous. I feel very much upset by this comment. I will leave this reaction as a sign of my outrageous upsettiness and I expect to see an equally outrageous avalanche of reactions by the time I check eRep again!

I find the article an outrage! The idea that you have to do things yourself is stupid! Every gov has the duty to provide all needs to the new players. They should be given high posts on all possible matters and provided with gold, cc, food and weapons all day so they can blindly click without thinking so that the tiny bit of brain that is hopefully inside their skill doesn't need to be used to prevent deterioration!
On top off that not only the gov should do so. Also all players worldwide playing over a year now should give their belongings to new players and refrain from positions in gov, military and such and should not fight in a battle should a new player wants to have a BH or CH!
That's the way it should be! The fact Legendardisch is denying that is an outrage! It once again shows the elitism around here where every new player is denied a future!

Another example of the elitism around here! I can see how the youngsters will feel and will quit this game for that reason precisely! How on earth can they ever accomplish anything with players behaving like you show us here....
