Hello my dear Brozil,

I have asked my friend nookie_hookie to publish this article for me in Brazil, since I have returned to Croatia to serve this month as Country President.

I wanted to address you because I’ve been worried about the latest situation in Brazil.
Many of you know me, I began my political career right here in Brazil as ambassador of Croatia when Phoenix alliance fell apart, over one and a half year ago, and since then I've been citizen of Brazil.



In real life i have never been to Brazil, so when I first came here,I did not know anything about its people and culture.
But what I saw in the first few days, it amazed me. And me fall in love with all of you more than in any other country in eRepublik.

Spartan sense of honor, courage, friendliness, hospitality. In year and a half I have spent here I considered Brazil as my second eHomeland.
You were a rich nation, but not by number of citizens, or 10/10 bonus, or amount of money on your Treasury. You were a rich nation because of the kindness of your hearts and the great respect that you had for all.
Because of this, I always gave 110% when Brazil needed help on the battlefield. I would make EDEN put Prio 1 on you, and would work for interests of Brazil same as interests of Croatia. Our two countries were always equal in my mind and in my work.



I have as well founded a MU a year ago, for all those who cherish Brazil-Croatia brotherhood, called Crozil Brotherhood Brigade, which is now ran by my friend Trademaster while I’m serving as Croatian CP.



So to say the least I was very surprised when I found out that Brazil is having secret negotiations with Poland and Spain about a new alliance.
I’m an old player, I’ve been in this game for over 3 years. That scenario reminded me of the same way Poland was lured into joining ONE. I wrote an article to try to warn you all.It has Portugese version.

When it became obvious that Poland will do the same to Brazil I again warned you with an article of what their plan is on how to get Brazil to go to exONE side.

Please read these articles, and especially take a look at the comments. And see what I said will happen and you claimed that will never happen.



I told you, that they will work in baby steps, pushing you away from your brothers, and luring them to their side, by inviting the lowest human emotions in you. And that is not Brazil, the best thing that human race has, I have found in abundance in Brazil.

I have talked with your CP then, who assured me that no other exONE MPP except Spain will be signed. Here is a part of that conversation:

[18:12] Volkofff You see, Spain is willing to withdraw some of their MPPs that are not useful to her. And we take some that are not useful for us. And together we create the strength to stay both 100% bonus.

[18:13] Volkofff We will not sign with any ONE of the country. So why is not more than ONE spain.

I believe that Volkofff believed this when he was saying it to me. But what he didn’t believe is that this was just the first step. And with baby steps Brazil will be lured further.

What I have also noticed that some players in Brazil, old players, who had my full trust, and I have considered that they will never be fooled by talks of material goods, bonuses and conquering have fell to this propaganda.



Which brings us to the most recent situation in Brazil.
I have noticed that CAT and FODACE is under heavy attack from half of Brazil population.
Why? Because they are pointing to Brazil’s honor and respect, values that were once held above anything else?

Values that made a man who is thousands kilometers away to love you as he grew up with you? Values that made you most respected nation in eRepublik? In all my career of diplomacy I have never heard, any diplomat from EDEN country, when talking about you to put first Brazil’s citizen number or 10/10 bonuses.

First association with Brazil was always honor and respect. 10/10 and firepower were always secondary, much less important.

Poland aslo has a lot of citizens and 10/10.And what do they have to show for? Being called Loland? And about respect? I see it in my private conversations with their allies. Everyone is sick of them.

And with what did Poland came to you when they wanted CTRL? Talk about 10/10 and firepower. The principal ONE was founded on. And why you were not desirable back then? Because your numbers were not high enough.They are cunning, sneaky and all their pretending is well planed.





And that is precisely what Brazil represents to Poland and Spain. A high number. In bonuses. In citizens.

You are now at the crossroads. In a way you have to choose what do you wish to conquer in this game. Will it be resources or hearts of players thousands of kilometers away?

This is a game. But behind every citizen there is a person behind his computer. And nobody can tell me when you insult someone here that you can go to a eRep meeting and be like nothing happened. Your deeds have consequences.



My personal achievement in this game will never be pixels that I won, political positions that I held, companies or gold that I have earned. Once I stop playing this game, all that will be gone.

But friendships I made here, with people all around the world will be the one thing I carry on forever. With many of them I have exchanged Facebook or Skype contacts.

So each and everyone of you can ask yourselves.

Do you want pixels or peoples hearts?
Do you want to be looked at as a number or as a great friend?

Listen to CAT and FODACE. They represent all the things we have always loved you for. A true soul of Brazil.
