[MrCarey4CP] The Team

Day 2,870, 20:10 Published in USA USA by MrCarey

Hello eAmericans! I’m here today to share with you all the cabinet that I have assembled to help run our great eCountry. I’ve opened threads in every top 5 party asking for any questions or feedback, and boy did I get more than I expected. That’s fine though, I have no issue with it, and yet the show must go on. So without further rambling, I present to you all, the potential cabinet of October 2015.

Vice President: WildOwl

The man is a master in Foreign Affairs; a powerhouse. I may have never had an official FA position, but I’ve been CoS twice, and I’ve dealt with the FA departments. I know what’s involved, where we stand, and for times I’m unsure, WildOwl will be there to back me up.

Chief of Staff: Aramec

I ran the Chief of Staff gig twice in the past three months. I’ve seen first hand what being a pushover and being laxed does. It does nothing and produces nothing. I need someone in this position who is focused, determined, and will make sure things stay on task. What better person to give this job to than our current CP?

Secretary of State: Derphoof

Derp did a fantastic job as Sec of State. I see absolutely no reason why he should be removed from this position, and I honestly can’t think of anyone better to do the job. He likes the job, I like him there, and I want to keep him there.

Secretary of Defense & NSC Director: Senryaku & TylerB

I put these two positions together in the PDBs and I’m going to do so again. These two departments work so close hand-in-hand that they almost work as one cohesive unit. Senryaku has been an absolute fantastic Secretary of Defense. Tyler B has the experience and drive when it comes to getting things done, getting COs up, and taking care of any business that needs to be taken care of.

Secretary of Media: Resoula

Resoula did a fine job as Media. I almost was going to move him out of this position, but when it came down to it, he was the more solid choice. He’s active, he’s passionate about the position, and he’s a great writer.

Press Secretary: Jude Connors

Jude is Jude. There’s no other like him. He’s got good humor, he knows how to screw around but still get things done. I want to bring back the daily press releases, and I want them to be entertaining again. Jude is simply my best option for this position.

Secretary of Citizen Affairs: Orikfricai and Yui

Orikfricai absolutely dominated DoCA this month. He kept the programs running, he made sure everything related to the harvest festival was being taken care of, and whenever I asked him for information, he delivered. The department is demanding though. It has many different programs in it, and I feel it’s a bit much for just one person to run. That’s why I signed Yui on to help out. I want articles to go out again from the DoCA paper, I want more interaction within the community (and Yui is pro at that). I want DoCA to shine in October.

Secretary of Technology: Scott Coyle

Scott, he’s a fantastic dude. He made the header, footer, dividing bars, and campaign logo that I use in my paper. Not only that, he has been working absolutely tirelessly on updating the eUSA’s wiki and the new eUSA govt. website. To remove him from this position in favor of someone else would be absolutely criminal. Scott is hard working, dedicated, and tech savvy. I’m glad to have him on my team.

Yes, my team looks a lot like Aramec’s team. Yes, I’m well aware of that. But when a group of people work together so well, why on earth should they be broken apart? I know this group of people are dedicated individuals who - as much as they don’t want to admit it - love this silly game. They are focused and get done what needs to be done. Those who work in Defense, NSC, and State have the experience needed to keep us on track. If I’m going to do this, and do this right, I need the right team alongside of me.

That’s all I have for you this time around. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them below or in one of the threads on the forums. My next article will be talking more about my plan as we get closer to election day and what I’m left to work with is clearer. Our situation in Spain is a little uncertain right now (as I write this) so what it will look like come October 5th, and what we’re left to work with may vary. So until, next time eAmerica. Take care, and roll on.
