Country President elections have come and gone yet again, and we look upon the upcoming elections for the next position up for grabs. Ladies and gentlemen, I come to you all today with the announcement of my Party President campaign. A campaign for Party President for We The People. I have quality competition this time around, and I want to start talking about this now to let you all know how serious I really am about this.

I have the experience, determination, organization, and enthusiasm this party needs, and I plan on bringing all of it back with me should I be (re)elected. For those who may not know, I was PP for WTP from September to November of last year. My platform this time is similar to the past, but I feel now is the time it matters the most.

My campaign has has three main principles; communication, efficiency, and productivity. I feel the party has been lacking 2 of these 3 principles, and I’m running to bring all 3 together into one cohesive machine.

Communication is extremely important in pretty much every aspect of eRepublik. I feel it’s super important in party management. Without proper means of communication, information cannot be properly relayed, which has the potential to cause errors, oversight, and mistakes. Not only do you need to have the proper means, it needs to be efficient as well. You can have all the communication tools out there, but if they aren’t being used properly or regularly, then what good are they? The communication web in party leadership is essential to its efficiency.

If I’m elected Party President, I will be bringing back weekly PPDBs on the forums, with a copy going out in-game as well. That way everyone in the cabinet will know what’s going on, what has been done, and what needs to be done. Communication doesn’t just stop at leadership either. If I’m elected back to the PP position, I will bring back my weekly newsletters that will go out to all party members with information about what’s going on in the party. I feel it is essential that members of the party who aren’t in leadership are kept in touch with and up to date with the happenings in the party. I feel that not only will this make party members aware of what’s going on in their own party, but it will increase participation and retention efforts.

Efficiency is also important because if the party leadership isn’t working together in an efficient manner, then nothing will get done in a timely manner. I touched on efficiency in communication earlier, but there are other places efficiency matters. Making sure nominations and primaries are started and ended on time is essential. If one or the other gets delayed, it throws the entire schedule off. Each step in the electoral process within WTP needs to run at high efficiency in order to truly be effective. I have plans to have a member of my cabinet in charge of the electoral process for each election and make sure everything is happening when it should be happening. This “new” position is going to be one of the main factors in revitalizing the efficiency of the party.

Productivity should just be a given. Without a high caliber of productivity, jobs won’t get finished, and the party’s image will suffer. If new party members aren’t coming in and new articles aren’t going out, it makes everything stale. New players are the true lifeblood of this game, and should be treated as so. They are the ones who bring new ideas and visions. They may not always be right, but sometimes they trigger different ideas that lead to new ideas that can actually be executed. I am going to make sure there are at least two We The People articles out each week. The reason I can say this is because the person I am choosing to be the next Director of Media (if I’m elected), can surely perform at this level.

I’ll leave you all with this to dwell upon and consider. I will be releasing a follow up article with my cabinet, who they are, their roles in the party, and why I chose them. I’m not just picking people because they’re around, or because they were doing the job last month, so let’s just keep it going. I hope to have your support in the upcoming Party President election, and I look forward to a solid race.
