[MoFA] Interview with eIrish Foreign Affairs Member Mininuns

Day 2,337, 19:18 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Ministerie van Buitenlandse Za

Hello fellow citizens of the eNetherlands,

This month the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made it a top priority to reach out and to get to know some of our Aurora allies for the benefit of the eDutch citizens and the Government of the eNetherlands as well. To do this, we have interviewed the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of several Aurora nations and will be doing a series of these interviews over the course of the rest of this month.

eIrish Foreign Affairs Member Mininuns

Our third interview for this month’s series of interviews is with a member of eIreland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Team, Mininuns. Mininuns is a well-known player throughout eRepublik and has been widely influential during his time in the game. He joined on 29 January 2012 and is currently a member of the Irish CrOmega Military Unit.

1. How long have you been playing eRepublik?

I have been playing eRepublik for 2 years!

2. What brought you to eRepublik and what keeps you playing the game?

I saw the old map in a social network and I decided to give it a try. I remain playing because of the players I've met throught these two years and because of other things worth mentioning! If I did, I guess this interview would take too long to read though ;p

3. What do you consider to be your greatest achievement in eRepublik?

Nice question. Well, participating in many different governments and alliances as well as having helped my country plenty of times is what I really take into consideration when it comes to think about my overall achievements.

And, of course, knowing people from other countries: having foreign friends is something that totally eclipses what I previously said!

4. What do you think about the eNetherlands as a country? Do you believe your citizens feel they know about eNL or would they like to know more?

It's difficult to have a complete opinion about your country due to its size and -in general terms- scarce activity in worldwide events. Fortunately, you recently carried out an AS, which gave you certain protagonism.

I daresay Irith citizens would like to know more about you, indeed. Nothing that cannot be solved with some effective propaganda! ;P

5. What do you believe would be the best way to strengthen the relationship between eIreland and the eNetherlands?

Dialogue, for sure. Dialogue and common objectives would lead us to bring relations closer.

6. What would you say about eIreland to help eNL citizens to be able to know more about your country?

Well, we are a small and familiar community. We are currently passing through a great moment in our eHistory: we succeeded conquering Slovenia and mantaining our regions in inland Europe and our participation inside our alliance, Aurora, (in where we are founder members) is pretty high. This would not have been possible with our allies' assistance.

We actually have got a neutral stance towards the United Kingdom, considered Ireland's number one enemy. Our main channels are #Eire (national one) and #Eire.fa (foreign affairs): visit us if you would like to know more! Everybody is welcome.

7. eIreland and its allies showed great strength and initiative over the past month and had a lot of military action, taking many regions in Central Europe, specifically from eSlovenia. Do you believe this next month will be filled with even more military action or is eIreland looking more for peace this month?

Oh! What a surprise: I just explained this situation before. I guess I should have read all the questions before writing, but anyway! Naturalness is often awarded 😉

It's no secret our objective is to remain there. Still, our activity in this specific zone will not be as much as in previous months.

8. What is your message to the Government of the eNetherlands?

I would like to congratulate you for your recents activities. Keep it up! Ireland is just an example of how a small country can graze the top, and I hope the eNetherlands does so in the near future!

Miau 🙂

Thank you everybody for reading and thank you also to Mininuns for doing this interview. The eNetherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs greatly appreciates it. We hope those who read this article have learnt a bit more about eIreland, a country who has clearly proven to be a strong and proud member of the Aurora Alliance.
