[MoFA] Embajadas Diciembre 2012 - Segunda Parte [EN|SP]

Como adelantamos en el anterior articulo correspondiente al trabajo de los embajadores en este mes de Diciembre, aquí proseguimos con el ultimo articulo que comprende las ultimas cinco embajadas mas activas del periodo.

Portugal - Tiroloko

1) ¿Portugal y/o los portugueses están a gusto con EDEN?

Is portugal and/or the portuguese at ease with EDEN?

Están divididos.. saben que EDEN no es lo mismo que antes. Los que no quieren a EDEN dicen que se perdieron sus valores como alianza. Los que están a favor de quedarse es porque saben que al salir van a tener los mismos mpp.. no van a cambiar mucho.

They’re divided … They know that EDEN is not the same as before. The ones who don’t want EDEN say that its values as an alliance are lost. The ones for staying know that as they get out they’ll have the same MPPs … It’s not going to change much.

2) ¿Planean continuar en EDEN o esta la posibilidad de que abandonen y se unan a otra alianza?

Do you plan to stay in EDEN or is there the possibility that they abandon and join another alliance?

Se esta haciendo un referéndum en este momento.

A referendum is being made at the moment.

3) ¿Se esta barajando la posibilidad de llegar a un NAP con España? ¿Hay intenciones por parte de Portugal y/o España?

Is a NAP with Spain being considered as a possibility? Are there any intentions from Portugal and/or Spain?

Portugal tiene la intención pero españa es muy indecisa (palabras textuales de un miembro del gobierno portugués). Me parece que si portugal cambia de rumbo minimamente deberia firmar nap con españa y esto cambiaría radicalmente el mapa de las alianzas.

Portugal has the decision but Spain very indecisive (textual words of a Portugal’s government member). I believe that if Portugal changes its course slightly it should sign a NAP with Spain and this would change radically the alliance’s map.

Uruguay - pcmartin

1) ¿Qué piensan los uruguayos con respecto a su reciente guerra contra Chile? ¿Algo que comentar con respecto a esto?

What do the Uruguayan people think about their recent war with Chile? Do you have something to say about this?

La mayoría estuvo de acuerdo en la guerra contra Chile. Una vez que recuperaron su capital se sintieron muy contentos y saben que a pesar de ser un país chico, cuentan con todo nuestro apoyo (entre otros). Me pareció verlos fortalecidos y si lo tendrían que volver a hacer, lo harían sin ningún inconveniente.
Con respecto a Chile, los uruguayos sienten que fueron irrespetuosos y soberbios, cosa que realmente no esperaban. Para Uruguay los chilenos sintieron el ataque como una traición, cuando en realidad se defendió a dos de aliados ocupados por ellos.

The most part of them agreed to go to war against Chile. Once they got their capital back, they felt very happy, and they know that, besides being a small country, they can count with us. I think they seem to be very strengthened and, if they had to do it again (NEing Chile), they would do it seamlessly.
Regarding Chile, the Uruguayans feel they were disrespectful and arrogant, thing that tey didn’t really expect. According to Uruguayans’ opinion, the Chileans felt this attack as a betrayal, even though Uruguay was defending an ally who was being invaded by Chile.

2) ¿Esa guerra los ha alejado de Brasil?

Did this war distanced Uruguay from Brazil?

Brasil es un país querido por los uruguayos, sin embargo, últimamente las cosas no están muy bien, igual nada que ver por esta guerra en especial. Además, muchos uruguayos saben que los brasileros les han dado una mano en varias ocasiones.

Although things are not going very well lately (this distance has nothing to do with this war), Brazil is an estimated country to the Uruguayan people. Besides that, many Uruguayans know that Brazil had helped Uruguay in several times.

3) ¿Tienen algún plan a desarrollar a futuro? Como hacer un BB por ejemplo.

Estuve viendo a varios ciudadanos incentivar la idea de un BB, pero sinceramente es más como una idea al aire que un proyecto en si.
Consultando al CP de Uruguay sobre algún proyecto a largo plazo, me dijo que ellos habían cumplido con todo lo que prometieron y mucho más, obviamente siguen trabajando, pero la verdad es que no veo ningún proyecto concreto a largo plazo.

I’ve seen a few citizens supporting the idea of a Baby Boom, but, to be honest, it was more an idea than a concrete plan.
Talking with the Uruguayan CP regarding long-term projects, he told me that they achieved all their goals in a way bigger than expected, they obviously keep on working, but I can’t see any concrete projects in the long term.


India - pacifyer

1) ¿Hay algún tipo de trato por el cual Croacia y China poseen regiones indias? ¿Existe algún tipo de problema por esto?

Is there any kind of deal by which Croatia and China have indian regions? Is there any problem about that?

Tuvieron un trato en que Croacia pagaba alquiler por las regiones de India ocupadas, y lo mismo por parte de China. Pero hace mucho que no les pagan nada, y no se respeta lo que habían pactado. Sienten que no tienen peso como para hacer valer el trato.

They had a deal in which Croatia paid a rent for the occupied indian regions, and the same for China. But it’s been long since they’ve been paid nothing, and what was pacted is not being respected. They feel they don’t have weight to make the deal valid.

2) ¿Cuáles son los motivos por los cuales se ha puesto en marcha un referéndum con el fin de decidir si salen o no de EDEN?

Which have been the reasons why a referendum has started to decide if you get out or not of EDEN?

Los ciudadanos indios piensan que EDEN no los ayuda con sus dramas, ni pelea sus guerras. Se sienten bastante abandonados a su suerte. Además, la mayoría de las guerras que están teniendo son RW, con lo cual la participación de jugadores extranjeros, particularmente de EDEN, en sus guerras es muy, muy bajo. Sólo se han sentido apoyados por Australia, con quienes tienen una relación muy buena, de amistad y confianza.

Indian citizens think EDEN doesn’t help then with their problems, neither fight their wars. The feel kind of left to die. Besides that, most of the wars that they’re having are RWs, by which the participation of foreign players, particularly of EDEN, in their wars is really, really low. They’ve only felt supported by Australia, with whom they have a really good relationship of friendship and trust.

Australia - City Garden

1) ¿Tienen intenciones de unirse a alguna alianza?

Do you have intentions of joining any alliance?

Por el momento no hay intenciones de unirse a alguna alianza, sino que están "viendo" el panorama antes de tomar una decisión. De lo que están seguros (el MoFA actual) es que no le ven futuro a EDEN, ademas de estar descontentos con actitudes de Rumanía y nuestras. Viendo que no renovaron mpp con países EDEN, me vuelco a que están en una actitud pro-CoT.

At the moment there is no intention of joining any alliance, but are "seeing" the big picture before making a decision. What we are sure (the current MoFA) is that they see no future to EDEN, besides being unhappy with Romania and our attitudes. Seeing no mpp renewed with EDEN countries, tipping me they are in a pro-CoT.

2) ¿Piensan en firmar una NAP con Chile para tener un poco más de estabilidad y capaz tener alguna región más que la única que poseen actualmente?

Do you plan to sign a NAP with Chile for a little more stability and can have some more than the only region that currently possess?

Todavía no habían tomado una decisión, estaba Estados Unidos como mediador, pero lo seguro era que esperaban recuperar una o dos regiones más para tener algo con que poder llegar a un acuerdo más beneficioso para Australia.

Novedades de último momento:

New last minute

1) A lo dicho anteriormente, hay que agregar que el pacto de no agresión con Chile obliga a Australia a posicionarse del lado de CoT, firmarían mpp's como país pro-CoT , ademas con Brasil y EEUU.

2)A raíz del articulo se puede decir lo que a mi parecer era obvio, se firma NAP con Chile, si bien el CP de Australia en el foro dejo dicho que el articulo no era oficial, ya que estaban esperando firmar los mpp's correspondientes con los mediadores (EEUU y Brasil) y los miembros de CoT. El NAP es un hecho, ya se devolvió otra región acordada.

Croacia - Tenshou

1) ¿Que opinan, en general, con respecto a EDEN?

What do you think, in general, towards EDEN?

Algunos quieren seguir en EDEN hasta las últimas consecuencias, otros, supuestamente los que no están muy metidos en el tema, creen que es momento para formar una nueva alianza porque esta ya no da para más. En lo que sí están de acuerdo todos es que EDEN tiene dos opciones, o hace grandes modificaciones en forma urgente, o “muere”.

Some want to continue in EDEN until the last consequences, others, supposedly the ones who are not much into topic, believe that it’s time to make a new alliance because this one isn’t going to last. They all agree that EDEN has two choices, it makes huge modifications immediately or it “dies”.

2) ¿Qué piensa la población con respecto a su estadía en Asia y su borrado de los Balcanes?

What do people think towards their stay in Asia and being erased from the Balkans?

La opinión también está dividida. Por lo que me dijeron existe más o menos un 50% de la población que quiere regresar a los Balcanes y otro 50% que prefiere permanecer en Asia. No es algo “generacional” por lo cual pueda decirse que los más antiguos prefieren una cosa y los más nuevos otra, hay viejos y nuevos por un lado, y viejos y nuevos por el otro.

The opinion is divided. By what they said there’s more or less a 50% of the population who wants to get back to the Balkans and other 50% that prefers to stay in Asia. It’s not something of “generations” by which it could be said that the older ones prefer a thing and the newer other, there are old and new ones in one side, and old and new ones on the other.

3) ¿Tienen algún inconveniente interno? ¿Por qué?

Lo que puede destacarse internamente es que una de las MUs más grandes e importantes de Croacia, Tigrovi, se peleó con el anterior CP, Obersoldat. Este les “dió” solamente una org. para que puedan usar cuando en realidad la MU es dueña de 5 orgs. en total. Más allá de esto, a Tigrovi lo que más le molestó fue la actitud del entonces presidente para con ellos. A modo de “protesta”, pegaron en contra de dos países aliados en una ocasión (después lucharon por ellos por lo cual su relación no quedó en malos términos, de hecho se llevan muy bien) lo que generó un mayor malestar interno y provocó que más de uno se enoje con la MU. Por suerte el actual CP, dSoKre, devolvió hace poco dos orgs. más, esto calmó un poco las aguas.

It can be highlighted internally that one of the biggest and most important MUs of Croatia, Trigovi, had a fight with the former CP, Obersoldat. He “gave” them only one org. so they could use while the MU actually own 5 orgs. in total. Besides that, what bothered Tigrovi the most was the attitude of that CP towards them. In “protest”, they hit against two allied countries once (then they fought for them so the relations didn’t end badly, actually they get along really well) what caused a greater internal discomfort and caused that many get mad with the MU.Luckily the current CP, dSoKre, gave back recently two orgs. so things calmed down a bit.
