[MIK4CP] The Manifesto

Day 5,920, 23:25 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Mr Immanuel Kant

Introduction
So far this year 2024 has had very close Presidential campaigns. I hope that again this month we can have a friendly but vigorous contest, with election interviews, manifestos and campaigning.
This game is built around competition and I am pleased to be a part of an active conversation and discussion over who should be elected as CP. I always want things to be civil and friendly, there is no place for abuse or personal attacks in a battle of ideas.

1. Maximum Training Wars (TW’s
When it comes to training wars I have always championed as many as feasibly possible. My plan for Training Wars is a holistic one, we need to better organise ourselves in order to be able to achieve more training wars.
I will also conduct a review of our TW’s to assess how many medals are being won by eUK players and how many are being stolen. Many of my other manifesto commitments all work towards this goal of maintaining and enhancing our TW experience for all UK players.

2. Double All MoD Rewards
I will therefore be doubling our caps on the Air Programme and Weapons Rewards schemes. This will mean both an increase of 15,000cc to 30,000cc but also a doubling of the rewards per kill from 6cc to 12cc. The Weapon Rewards will also see an increase in the cap, meaning citizens will be able to claim a maximum of 250 Q7 weapons. This will help reward our most active citizens and encourage others to ensure they are fighting as much as possible, strengthening the country as a whole.

We hope in doing this will assist in giving equal opportunity to all citizens and make sure that our resources go to those who’ll use it and that it enhances their enjoyment of the game.

3. Military Co-ordination and New Ministry
There has been a lot of cross party talk recently about how we co-ordinate our defence. If we are to utilise our Training Wars we need to be organised as a nation. This will include better communication channels between Commanders, tanks and government.

For too long has the work of the MoD and the 'work' of the MoFA (before he was sacked for inactivity) been disjointed and unconnected. I am proposing to merge the offices of MoD and MoFA creating (as we used to have) a Ministry of Defense and Foreign Affairs. This new ministry will be an active force with ministers and deputies who will lead a coordinated effort to manage our TW’s and build relationships with our allies.

4. Guaranteed War-game
Several ideas have been floated this month about the best way to organise and run a war-game. There might be various ways to run it and we can try many of them, but the most important thing for my government will be to run a trial version. I pledge that within 10 days in office we will have had an initial war-game. If successful we will repeat this process.

5. National Player Support
I promise that all new players who join the eUK will receive free weapons and food they will also be introduced to a mentor who will talk them through the game and offer assistance.

We will also be implementing a new government grant to enable players to upgrade their storage. (New players have often flagged this as an issue for them). All of these new players will be automatically registered with an ongoing energy and weapon subsidy. However this term MoH is going to be a crucial ministry!

We want to make guides and links as easy to follow and understand as possible, some of our existing guides are far too long for new players to engage with (if they can be found at all).

6. Financial Competency
One of the most important characteristics of a President is financial competency. If elected I will ensure that we do not allow large debts to our Training War partners build up over time and that each partner is paid or billed at least once in the term.

We will continue to act sensibly playing the Monetary Market for added income. Where we believe current programs can be bolstered and enhanced, we will explore all funding opportunities before putting consideration into reserve spending, and I expect my MoF to work on proposals for new spending to be developed with Congress to make sure we meet our commitments.
I will also provide a Financial assessment when leaving office detailing how public funds have been spent, I believe we need further transparency in this area moving forward.

7. Communications and Media
If elected there will be regular media updates from every ministry department. It is probably 3-5 years since we have had one month where every cabinet member has written an article. As a Cabinet we are accountable to the public and so transparency and good communication.

8. PMQs
I believe that everyone elected is accountable to those who elect them. With this in mind every Wednesday there will be an article published with myself giving an account and answering all questions asked of me. Every single citizen in the eUK regardless of party (or none) will have the opportunity to ask me questions on any issue. I would also be happy for these to appear on discord, and happy to take live questions.

If my team and I are doing a good job it will be obvious, likewise if we are doing a bad job it will be obvious. This will increase activity and participation across the political spectrum. More importantly, this will provide the opportunity for good ideas to be discussed and developed into being. My hope is this will grow the eUK for the better.

This is my manifesto, I hope there are ideas and proposals here which make me different from the other candidates.
Please Consider voting for a united community and vibrant ideas. Remember nobody knows how you vote, voting is private so please read all manifestos before making a decision and vote with your heart and mind not just by party.
