UPDATES FROM THE PARTY PRESIDENT

CONGRESS ELECTION

Congratulations to all new Senators for Jan-Feb 2016. There was a fantastic turnout for KHMC up from previous months and it was great to see all parties got a full ballot up. First time I've ever seen that playing eRep.

The Senators of eAustralia representing KHMC this month are:

Being elected, besides getting 5 gold from Plato, gives Senators an opportunity to advise, consent and guide the Executive of the Government (Country President and Cabinet). It would be fantastic to see KHMC Senators get active in the Congress debates and votes. Speak up if you have a question. The Executive seem like a cool bunch and they welcome it.

COUNTRY PRESIDENT ELECTIONS

As Senators come to office, the Executive commences the final road to transition. That's when every country in the New World heads to elect their new national leader on the same day. Convenient in a way, I guess.

KHMC has a role to play in this as a Top 5 party. We, along with the other 4 major parties, can nominate a candidate for the office of Country President. They don't have to be a KHMC member under game mechanics.

Ilene Dover has sought KHMC endorsement. Are there any others? Let me know by tomorrow night RL AEST.

Actually any party can run a cp candidate. If the top 5 don't each do a different candidate, a lower party candidate gets on the list on election day.

Must be a rule change. Back in my day a minor party could only endorse, not nominate.

No idea. Thought like you did until aus had a 7th ranked party cp candidate in elections and sent a ticket to admin about it 😛
