This will be the second article of my campaign for the elections of Country President of the United Kingdom. In this part I will cover the Home Affairs, including ATO, congress and communication. It will also consist of Education and Entertainment, and at the bottom a link to the application form for my cabinet.
Home Affairs
ATO
We all know that if we want to keep at least a part of what the United Kingdom was and deep down still is, we need to unite and fight against the ongoing PTO attempt that is going on in our land. I know there’s been several efforts before, some have been successful in a way, while others have been more successful. The latter ones are what we need, and at the time of writing this, I can only think of one ATO measure that has really worked lately, the one during our latest party president elections. For you who haven’t heard about it, Operation Black Hand was formed to free TUP from it’s oppressor, BigAnt and at the same time secure the second biggest party, Vendetta. Now, what would I and my government do to help and support this ATO and prevent the PTO? As the Operation mentioned above was a great success, I would not like my possible government to try to take over the efforts or to stand in the way. I encourage the team behind Operation Black Hand to co-operate with any potential government to try and stop this together, because if we do not, we will not succeed. I will use every means possible to spread light on the ATO measures throughout the term for it to get the attention it needs, and will help to gather voters that we so desperately need to make this work.
I have had enough of all of these people wanting to forcefully take over OUR country, we need it to stop. We need it to stop now! I hope that no matter what party affiliation you have, no matter what your political views are, we can stand together as one United Kingdom against the ongoing PTO!
Congress
Congress is usually the same bickering going back and forth, where to have discussions, forum, irc, PM, the personal attacks and the occasional Tax proposals that most often hasn’t been discussed whatsoever.
Well, clearly how Congress is run isn’t up to the Country President, but the Congress itself. What I want is to have a more open discussion with congress, inviting every congress member to discuss and ask questions once a week in a meeting, with me and my cabinet. This will hopefully help with solving issues and to improve the communication between the Government and the Congress.
Now what the United Kingdom really need Congress to do is to start coming up with ambitious ideas and not get stuck on guidelines and where to discuss. You have the power to really decide something, so get on with it and prove that you really want to give our country the best you can!
I surely want a stable immigration process, but forming one should not take weeks. It could be done within a day if a group of people willing to spend some time, really sat down and made a viable process. Therefore, I propose it be the Cabinet that work out a stable and balance Immigration policy, which then can be changed with the help of Congress voting on each guideline through a simple gdoc form.
Also, I do encourage all Congress members to apply for a cabinet position. Being in government while in Congress, may help a great deal in discussing certain matters and help with the communication between the two.
Improved Communication with the public
While communication with Congress is very important, the communication between the Government and the public isn’t any less. This is why I would like to have my ideal Ministry of Home Affairs publish an article, at least once a week. This article would consist of links to government articles, other useful articles published during the week and links to great programs such as the NHS and the eBrit University.
Education
Mentoring
Now if you remember, I mentioned in my opening article that I would like to focus more on mentoring during my possible term as the Country President. The way I believe this would work best is to appoint members of our community, with different experiences and political affiliations. These mentors would then be given newer or less experienced players to help them understand what the different ministries do and how someone would achieve success within the political field in this game, clearly there are several ways.
The student will, when filling out an application, mention what his preferred departments would be. If the students do well and are willing to work hard, they may be given simple tasks to complete under the supervision of the mentor and the Minister of the department the student has chosen. These tasks may vary from helping out the Ministry of Defence during a strike, updating orders, writing guides for the Ministry of Education and conducting interviews with both UK citizens and foreign citizens.
The idea of this mentorship programme is to help players that want to get involved in the political aspect of the game, but haven’t as of yet, to do so. And to instruct and develop new leaders of our country. I sincerely hope that many will see this as an opportunity, not only for the new to learn, but also for the experienced to teach and help the United Kingdom get new bright minds!

Guides
The ever recurring theme of the Ministry of Education, Guides. Surely it might be tiring to hear this over and over, but I do believe guides is a way for players, new and old to get a refresher on how things work.
As I mentioned above I would like it if the mentees would be involved in the creation of guides, and through that learn how to create nice and to the point articles. Republishing guides can be a good thing, if the guides are still up to date and the best they can be. Therefore I would also want the Ministry of Education to focus on not only republishing guides but to update them and make them the best they can be.
Entertainment
Military Unit Tournament
I will, during my term as Country President, start a tournament between all the MUs that want to be a part of it. The tournament will be split into three parts, of one week each. After the first week has finished prizes to the MU who dealt most damage, the MU with most damage per active fighter and the number of opponents defeated. The prizes will be in form of Q7 tanks, and will be handed over to the commander of the units who won, each week.
After the tournament has completed, the MUs that has scored the most points will win a bigger sum of Q7 tanks. The tournament will be organised by myself, the Minister of Entertainment and possibly deputies.
Other
I will give the Ministry of Entertainment free hands on deciding what other sort of entertainment they will want to organize during the month. Although I have several ideas in mind, such as “Lie to me”, and “3 Word Story”, both of these could be organized in the comment field of an article or on the forums, maybe both, published by the Ministry of Entertainment.
Cabinet
I will hereby open up the application phase of choosing the cabinet. I encourage every single one of our fellow UKers to apply for a spot in the cabinet and I will do my best to fit as many of you as possible in, no matter what party you belong to. I also promote you bringing ideas to the table, and I have therefore included a small box where you can leave any ideas or tips you may have.

How is this even being considered?
We are currently having problems with a group who are attempting to gain access to the levers of power despite their own recent citizenship, foreign ties and foreign MU's.
Any party that considers backing you is turning the whole ATO movement from an argument about trying to protect the community from nation hoppers with allegiances without the nation into one of....... we just hate Serbs.
I hope that for the continued harmony and co-operation of the top 5 parties in protecting the eUK that this complete charade of a campaign ends shortly.
I was in Turkey for about two weeks, because I wanted to take part of their 100 % resource bonus, nothing weird with that, especially as it was in a Sirius nation, an allied nation.
I did not decide to run three days ago, I'm not sure why you have that perception, an announcement isn't a decision.
I am in an MU that is fighting for the good of Sirius = the good of the UK.
I also serve in this nations government.

You could of helped initally by moving back to the nation that you've always had the 'best in mind' for and actually taking part in securing TUP, taking out V or securing congress.
Yes I was not here for the securing of TUP and taking out of V, and sure maybe I should have been, but that is the past. Although, a faulty accusation, I was here for the congress elections and was able to help securing congress.
The rest of the ATO stuff and your Congress plans especially are a copy of another candidates plans to essentially do nothing and let others work it out.
A hands-off plan sounds great unless the nation actually has a tradition of looking to the man at the top for leadership and suffering when the CP goes missing or washes his hands of affairs.
If you would have actually read what I wrote, I never said I would do nothing. I did though, say that I will do things.
The rest of the article is a copy-paste of every other standard campaign article from the 2012 era with stuff like MU tournaments or a mash of Neils ideas about getting others to do your work for you.
Right again, never said I'd hand things over to others to do... And if the case is this is copy-pasted, without me actually doing the copying and pasting, well sue me I did not know. Although, I do know the MU tournament has been around before, I just happen to like the idea. There's nothing wrong with using good ideas is there? Otherwise, why would we even have a CP, someone else did that already...

Involvement? A MU tournament that only the big boys can win, why should the smaller MUs take part??

eUK has 36 MUs. You say 156 ( 2/3 of 234 ) should be about right. Are you seriously suggesting we create another 120 MUs?

Perhaps KJ could publish a history of his citizenship movements so we know what he has been up to.

Here's my history, I was in Sweden for a brief period back in December, when I was not very active at all and wanted to do something else. Since then I was in the UK, up until around three weeks ago when I went to Turkey, for the resource bonuses and helped out a friend in their government. And then I got back to the UK about a week ago.
That sounds fine other than conflict of interest with Turkey?
There's not really any conflicts, they are completely fine with me being here and being in both governments at the same time.
