Hi all Citizens of eIreland

Our Country President, Elite C, on behalf of the Government has tasked me, Vice President Winston Hope Smith, with making sure you are kept up to date with how we, your Government, is working away recovering the Country in all Departments from Finances to Community.

So I hope you don't mind that this article will be a bit of a read. (I'll add in some nice pictures to break up this wall of text)

Ministry Of Defence
Line Minister Liam Tatlock

I'll start with the Minister of Defence which is one of the more visible Departments running our Training War with Canada at the moment.
This TW is going well for us with some and at the time of writing we hold Newfoundland and are battling in Nunavut Thanks to all our fighters working hard , I hope you are enjoying the True Patriot bounty. With Canada's war with Albania in full swing I'm not sure how long the TW will run for so make hay while the sun shines.

(DoD Orders are now to fight for UK)

As an aside our Country was ranked at 44 for Damage last week. 6 places better than the week before when we were at 50.




PLUTO Application
Line Minister Winston Hope Smith

I know many here are wondering the status of our application to join PLUTO after you, eIrish citizens, voted to join it before the Xmas break.

Your government is in contact, via PM, with the Alliance Secretary General, MCKitkat. The delay in the processing our application (to a positive or negative outcome) is due to a few reasons. The Xmas break meant a fall off in Alliance communications and then the Country President elections meant, in some cases, a change or personnel.. Hopefully now both these hurdles are passed we can move forward. Your Government is committed to honouring your vote and pushing for acceptance into PLUTO. If accepted we will play a full and active part in making the Alliance a success along with the other member countries, Spain, Mexico, United Kingdom, Belguim, South Korea, Paraguay & Bolivia.



Ministry of Finance
Line Minister Release the Krakkan

The MoF is continuing to speculate on the Money Markets but as this market is a bit quiet, earnings are not as hoped. They are exploring other avenues but none have really been lucrative so far. Citizens should expect a small increase/decrease on our totals.

If players want to they can donate to the orgs. They will be placing wrm offers of 100 iep per wrm on the market which they can purchase.


Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Line Minister Decy Donaghy

The MoFA is still awaiting on the result of the PLUTO application. Taking this in mind they are working, in conjunction with the MoF, and soon Congress to agree a Auto Sign MPP list in line with the constitutional requirement.

The MoFA has also reported to Cabinet on French/UK relations which we are watching very closely.

Finally the Minister has announced a new Ambassador Programme and will be looking for help in this very important field.



Ministry of Community
Line Ministers Winston Hope Smith, Raven Anarcho, Ice Drake Shyvana & LaganLad

This Ministry is getting on entraining you. At the moment the Gladiator Tournament is in full swing with Blood, Tears & Sweat in equal measure littering the Arena.



This Ministry has also taking on the task of increasing Population Growth starting with a Recruitment Article in the eUSA media,

Along with an initiative on Player Retention (especially new players) we hope to rebuild our population. Not an easy task but one we will work on all the same.

We also have created a Document Repository where we will keep the Constitution tracking changes, also Guides etc. Content has only started to be added so give us a bit of time. Any suggestions on good guides out there please leave links in the comments and we'll have a look.

Constitutional Committee
Elite C, Winston Hope Smith & Shytach

This small Committee is working in getting an initial draft of a Constitution ready. This is a immense task and will take some time, In the meantime the Government will continue to add sticking plasters to the old Constitution as and when required.

The plan is as follows...
1. Committee produces the rough 1st Draft
2. Presented to Cabinet for input
3. Opened to Public suggestions which Committee will consider
4. Present the new updated version to Cabinet
5. On Cabinet sign off it will be presented to Congress for final input (we expect Congress Members to use the public consultation phase so there should not be too many inputs at this stage)
6. Back to Cabinet and if we are happy, and feel it has a good chance of passing with present to Congress for a vote
7.Presented to eIreland Citizens for Ratification by Referendum
