And so it was, on the 7th day of the first month in 2010, the Carey Tribune's first article hit e-newstands across the eRepublik world. This of course is just an introduction article, sort of a, "Who the hell is MrCarey? And what is his purpose?".

My Goals for eRepublik: Provide excellent leadership and service to the nation of eUSA as a member of congress, and hopefully someday the president of eUSA. I'm new here and learning by observation and help from "Elders" of the game. I can bring fresh new ideas to mix things up and improve things that need to be improved instead of the same thing month after month.

I believe that the best way to take on a task isn't to just jump right in and start working on it. The best thing to do is sit back and observe. Get an understanding for what is going on before you go trying to fix things that might not actually need to be fixed.

So there you have it, some basic background information on who I am, and what my intents are here at the New World. Vote it up, subscribe, comment, and ask questions. I'm here to make a positive impact on the community, and a positive impact on our great nation..

Yes, you could take it as that. It's basically to get my name out there, make people aware of my ambitions and intentions. as days adn weeks go by, I plan on releasing more papers informing people on what is going on, and my feelings on the subjects.
