[FEDS] Play by Play on the Party Presidential Elections

Day 2,243, 21:20 Published in USA USA by stephen s

Good Afternoon my fellow eAmericans,
I write to you today to evaluate two party presidential candidates within the Federalist Party: Blondeninja and Tyler Bubblar. I have had various encounters with both people and I will use that experience to share my opinion and who I think would make the better party president.

The first candidate I will be looking at is Blondeninja:

-CO of the USTC
-Various DHS/IES jobs
-Director of Fed tech/former technical advisor for AMP
-Former security head in the AMP

Some of the questions that were addressed on the forums by Blondeninja include those concerning SHIELD, BN’s plans for increasing forum activity, and other miscellaneous topics. Given Blondeninja’s experience leading the USTC at all officer level capacities, I have no doubt that her(I’m going off an assumption here) feedback and input towards SHIELD will be helpful because of what she currently does in TC.

Blondeninja plans on bringing back the mentoring program in hopes of increasing participation to increase new member retention. She also plans on getting more of our members active on the forum, such as myself (working on it, I’m a member on too many forums). I greatly appreciate her knowledge when it comes to leading the USTC being a former senior officer of the USTC myself. However, I do have concerns as to whether or not she will allow, if elected, her position get to her and I have concerns about how that might affect our older and more experienced members. But from what I have seen, there seems to be no worry about that from our members.

Another point of conversation I would like to have considered is that because she is in charge of TC and all of the other involvements she has, will time management become an issue this month for blondeninja? This has been an issue for the past back when Blondeninja was the IES director, she resigned after there was discussion in congress towards a No confidence vote. I admire her ability to realize that she could no longer put forward the time needed for everything, but is that what we want as a party? I think I personally would want someone who can commit the time upfront so that we do not run into the issue in the first place, although I would not think negatively of that person because RL things do come up. Yes, real life takes priority in my opinion, but you can be useful in other ways if you cannot commit to the hot seat.

Ive stressed how I like her experience in her MU leadership, but I have concerns towards the experience I feel would make it very helpful to lead the party. Blondeninja has not served in any congressional session and has held deputy positions in the Department of Homeland Security, which I heard was also an issue time-wise for Blondeninja. To my knowledge, she has not served in any party leadership positions other than being the technical director. I like seeing “newer” people when it comes to this position, but I think I would have wanted to see more experience politically if possible. All in all, I think Blondeninja is a fair candidate but we need to keep in mind that we as a party will be voting for who we think is the best candidate.

I am now going to give my opinion on who I personally think will do a better choice, although I am up for surprises either way, and that person is Tyler Bubblar:

-2x Former Party President
-9x Congressman
-3x Department of Homeland Security Secretary
-1x Secretary of the Media, 1x Deputy SecMed
-Federalist Political Director x3
-Former Fed Vice Party President
-Fed Whip 5x

Here we see quite a shift in experience. What Tyler lacks in military leadership, he leads in political experience. The question that arises is: Are we electing a political leader or military leader? SHIELD has their own CO that has a cabinet position in the party. So we are electing a political leader. I certainly admire BN’s commitment towards the USTC and the “Leadership Experience” she has from that. But I think that that classification of leadership experience is not necessarily as applicable here except for her knowledge in mentoring newer players and getting them on their feet.

Im basing my opinion in this article based off of my experience in the party in the last 4 months as a congress member and time before that as a member of the party. I get to see a lot of things that other people don’t. It is a great feeling to have a party president who supports you completely in what you pursue as a team. I personally have had no complaints towards Tyler Bubblar, and I consider my encounters with him, whether in Congress or just on IRC, to be pleasant and very friendly. This is why I will have to place my support with Tyler Bubblar for these elections because I know he will do a great job. Blondeninja is a tough candidate and it will be a great election to see whatever the outcome is.

On a side note, I would like to take the time to make sure I appease to a wider variety of readers. The following picture is for one of my erep friends and I will leave them unnamed because they will know who they are when they read this article:
