_nickbergman   So it's that time of the month.  No ladies I'm not talking to you... Well maybe some of you but that's not really something I'm going to delve into.  It's time for everyone to vote for congress.  It's that time of the month where the news feed is bombarded with articles.  You will hear from this party or that, and why you should vote for them.  They are the best, they make all these vague promises that in reality promise nothing.  
  Now your wondering what I'm writing about here.  This guy has an agenda... I can tell.  Well of course I do, but I'm going to be 100% straight with you.  Vote for you, for your beliefs.  If that happens to be the Federalist party then we are overjoyed to have you join us in our fight to maintain government honesty and integrity.  Often you find a party line, it just so happens we all here tend to have think in the same way.  
  There is a key difference though.  We don't have a party line to tow.  We encourage all our congress members to vote their way.  Vote for what they feel is right.  Vote for the interests of the entire eUSA.  Vote for you out there reading this right now.  There is only one way a Fed congress person votes, and that is for what they believe the right thing to do.  
   We firmly believe in our motto of Country>Party>Self.  These are not empty words.  These are the meaningful words that lead us to fight for something greater than ourselves.  The reason people make such an effort to better not only this party but the country as a whole.  We believe in each and every citizen making a difference and having a voice, and that it deserves to be heard.  
    So when you go to vote, don't vote Fed because because I said so.  Vote Federalist, because it is a vote for you.  It is a vote for the future of the eUS and for all citizens new and old.  We are a newbcentric party.  People advance based on their work ethic.  You could very easily be the next party president here, or be the next person passing the word of the Feds through articles such as this.  
    So go vote, just be sure you are making a decision for you and for your voice to be heard.  Ensure the future for all here as fellow countryman looking to better ourselves and our nation.  Be Proud Be Horny and Stay Fed UP.  
Congress Roundtable?

Prepare to be propagandized. Trekker would like everyone to calm down and listen up.  A round table has been set up in the Fed offices.  It's actually the exact round table from the one in King Arthur's court because that's just what happens when you hit a certain level of P/H.  So some of us sat down and found out what people's thoughts were on congress and why they vote Federalist every time.  
Trekker:"I vote Fed because out of every group of people that I have dealt with politically, I agree with the Feds the most. Fed is not a perfect fit for me, but it is more perfect than any other party I have spoken to.
Over the past year and change, the Feds have become home to me. Especially since I started taking an active role last November. The longer I am active in-party the more I see that the standard of P/H really does mean Country>Party>Self. And that is an ideal I can stand by, as it plays well to my true nature as a person. We also encourage voting our hearts, even if that means disagreeing with each other. And those said disagreements are topical and at the end of the day we are Proud and Horny together.
Who could truly not vote Fed after seeing all that first hand?"

USWP is a shell of a party. It has only a few good people and the rest are zombies. Zombies are bad. And by a few, I mean a couple. And by good, I mean hard-working, not good.

AMP is infested by eUS Military people. The eUS Military had its merit, but when it turned its back on the Executive for the 100th time, they lost my respect. I still love a few people in the eUS Military, but their version of strategy is Brotherhood > Country.

WTP is too new to trust. Change is bad...mmmkay? But seriously, didn't they elect Valiant Thor against warning from many people. Let's see how they develop and mature.

The Black Sheep Party is actually ok, but the people that stole from the government never acknowledged said theft or apologized. I don't think they are bad, but an apology goes a long way. Until that time, I cannot promote them as a entity that would put the eUS before their own personal interests.

THE FEDERALIST PARTY genuinely fosters and dedicates itself to having fun in an otherwise ridiculous game. Erepublik used to be about economics and military strategy. The admins have managed to take any economic enjoyment and military strategy out of the game. All we have left are our social interactions. And by my measure, THE Federalist Party holds the biggest st(d)ick in this measure. Not only was I welcomed with open arms, but my personal cynicism has not been made fun of or ridiculed. We welcome and even encourage new player activity. We have a thriving Media Department. We work towards recruiting and retaining members, because activity and motivation can wane quickly. And, THE Federalist Party has the most fun of any group I've seen thus far."

MazzyCat:"Does anyone else hate congress with the fiery hatred of seven hells?"

Evil_Elvis:"Rather than why should you vote Fed, the better question is why haven't you joined the Feds? No other party is going to not only encourage, but actively work on engaging and promoting newFriends. We pride ourselves on being a meritocracy, where party work and activity is rewarded in spades....and that's not just something we say, we actually go out of our way to do it. And we have a helluva lot of fun in the process.

Nationally, we don't have a party line. We encourage our Congress Critters to vote their conscience, and it's never held against them when they do. We're probably one of the only parties who actually believe in country > party > self as an actual founding principle, and not just a cool tagline. We're always at the forefront of ATO efforts, selflessly sacrificing our own well-being for the overall good of the eUS. And we believe in fiscal responsibility in the eUS government. We feel that, while we of course need a warchest, the country's money also belongs with it's players, not in a some enormous, never-ending surplus account. We led the charge in lowering the work tax to 8%...a number that responsibly grows the surplus, without being a burden on private MUs who rely on communing for funding. We believe in having a national MU, but not at the expense of all else.

So if you want a party who will always represent ALL of the eUS, as opposed to just a few personal pet projects...voting Fed is a no-brainer."

dk3dknight:Its simply really, you are supporting something bigger then yourself, bigger then your friends and family your supporting something bigger then your real life job, your supporting a idea, a great idea, more then a great idea, the best idea. This idea will define generations that come after you, your vote is more important than anyone will ever think for each moment is defined by our choices...

Who do you want defining that future?

There is only one group of folks I trust to define that future, and that is Feds!"

So there you have it straight from some Feds themselves.  Also one who doesn't particularly enjoy being in congress(just guessing).  Congress is something for all of us in the eUS so make sure you get what you can out of it by voting Fed.

Well PP elections have wrapped up and now we're on to congressional elections.  As such we sat down with current party president Evil Elvis to get his views and comments regarding congress and the Fed party, all while relaxing in the newly renovated Federalist party offices.  Seriously we have a spa now, and masseuses 24/7, it's amazing.  So here is the sweat out in the sauna I know everyone has been waiting for.

Fed Press-So how are you finding yourself fitting in the hot seat once again?
Evil Elvis - I forgot how much work it is. I can only imagine how much harder it would be if the party was full of slackers. Fortunately, I'm blessed with a bunch of P/H Feds to make my life easier. But in general, so far so good. We're on track to get a Congressional training program up & running, and I've started making a spot in the forum for a Fed Library. And Congress is looking great for next month.

Fed Press-So what are your thoughts on the current Feds running for congress?
Evil Elvis - I couldn't be happier with the list this month. We have a pretty strong group of candidates so far, we're going to need a strong media push for votes this month, so we can get as many of them into Congress as possible.

Fed Press-Do we have any 6th party candidates running?
Evil Elvis - We do. I'm happy to announce that WookyJack, Jude Conners & I have worked out a deal to sponsor 2 SFP members this month, and we're all hopeful that it's only the start of a beautiful friendship. It's a mutually beneficial deal...we get to feel good about giving some 6th party people a chance to represent the eUS in Congress, and they get a party to cast their votes on 🙂

Fed Press-In general, what do you see out of the Feds in congress?
Evil Elvis - Well, this month has been rough. We lost quite a few of our candidates to a bug, and then had to tank our own vote because we didn't have a safe list of candidates to send. That left us with an already weak caucus, and then we had a couple more people go inactive, so we missed some opportunities on some important votes. That's why I'm so happy about the upcoming list...we have more qualified candidates than we have slots for.?

Fed Press-Any suggestions for the young Feds looking to break into congress in the near future?
Evil Elvis - Be active, work a party job. The Feds have always been a meritocracy...hard work and devotion is paid back with Congress spots, and advancement to leadership opportunities. That's the reason we don't do Congressional primaries....Congress should never be a popularity contest, it should always go to the most loyal and deserving among us

Fed Press-Any last words or remarks for the Federalist congress hopefuls?
Evil Elvis - Don't be discouraged if you don't make the list this month. Everyone on the list is more than deserving of a spot, but those spots are limited. When making the list, I look to send people who are most active, as well as leaving room for at least a couple 1st-timers. If you were on the cusp this month, you're almost guaranteed to be moved up on the list next month, so don't give up...we want to send you all.

This month congress has discussed censuring and black-listing, some of its fellow members due to the belief of treason, because of things they have done in the past. This issue came up when a former citizen of eUSA had plans to enter the eUSA and because of his famous background a discussion was held to overturn the blacklisted citizen. However the reason he was blacklisted was because he had spent millions on a war effort against eUSA, during the eCanada Wars, his name is none other than DMV. Now he wants to return to eUSA after his actions against the eUSA. This can be confusing because not all Americans will welcome him back with open arms. Is it time for heroes to intervene? The trial started and the discussion was held to overturn DMV's blacklisting, but known congressman Henry Pfeiffer Arundel took the stand and made negative comments about DMV. The argument became a heated one. Then Congresswomen Cyberwitch and Franklin Stone accused Henry Pfeiffer of treason as well, for tanking against eMexico during a time of war when the battle was for the core regions of eUSA. Then this nearly ended up in the censuring of congressmen Pfeiffer with 13 YES and 27 NO and 1 Abstain. As for DMV his black list was overturned by congress with 18 YES and 17 NO. This is a lesson we need to learn and reconcile the events of disunity in congress and in our country. So this does not happen in the future. Therefore I recommend an act in order to stop this from happening and wasting time on issues like this.
We need unity...
Anyways now this election the main theme is cooperation and understanding, this is why more experienced and understanding members of our society must go to congress. This why the Federalist party needs the help of citizens like you in order to achieve unity. So vote FED . Fed Up and Comer

I had the pleasure of sitting down with an Up and Coming Fed, Leo The Damager.  He gave us a few minutes of his time and some insight into a beautiful mind.

AA:  When and why did you join erepublik?

Leo:  I joined erpeublik about 2 month's ago for 3 day i will get my next Hard Worker medal 😃. I found erepublik on a google search 😃 i was trying to find a strategy game that i can play.  Before started erepublik i played other games on facebook.PC,mmorpg games etc

AA:  Can you remember what your first weeks and months were like, trying to navigate your way into this game?

Leo:  On the first 3 days of playing i just only fight when recovered energy only clicked fight fight fight and fight ....Then i read some guides from Kravenn that are very very helpful.  You can find the link here: http://erepubliktuto.wordpress.com/  Then I woke up and started all again 😃

AA:  Did you have friends that you knew before joining that helped you along?

Leo:No i was staying forever-alone in game...I joined IRC and I became friends with other people from eWorld.  They help me in every step 😃

AA:  How did you find SHIELD?

Leo:4.I was trying to upgrade my TG's first but I knew that someone should help me ...About 2 days i was just keep searching and then i found on eUSA an article for SHIELD and HAMMER who give 0.5 gold daily and 1.5 gold for completing extra objective 😃 And than i found that SHIELD is the best MU.

AA:  Do you enjoy the Fed forums being separate from the eusaforums?

Leo:As you know Federalister Party is the #1 party in eUSA with 382 members and with a great organization and all this party need a place for communication and the idea of forum is great 😃. I am not a member of eUSA forum but i would like to say that can never found an awesome place like fedparty.forumotion.com .

AA:  Has it been difficult to be a Swiss citizen and still remain loyal to the SHIELD Daily Order? Are you Swiss In-Real-Life?

Leo:No is not difficult because i keep contact with SHIELD with forum and IRC.  Its only little difficult with Federalister party..And nope i am not a Swiss in real life i am an Albanian 😃

AA:  How is the HAMMER training program going for you?

LeoHAMMER Program is great for new players.  I am an active solider and also a HAMMER Ast.Director.  With HAMMER you can upgrade you TG's easily.  There are only some small request: You need to work in commune, to be active on forum, to have SHIELD uniform and a member of Division 1 😃. For me HAMMER is going great i will upgrade my free TG to q4 when a discount will come ...

AA:  What has been the most influential player in your elife thus far?

Leo:pfffffffffffffff all P/H players and some friends from eSwitzerland

AA:  Do you have anything you'd like to say to the world about SHIELD?
