Join the new world

Hello everyone!

Well, this is the last article of the month, it was a pleasure to work as MoFA. We collected great results this month through the diplomacy! In this article you will get a grasp about everything happening in Swiss foreign affairs and what has been done during the month. Enjoy!



France and Austria

The FDFA has been in touch with both countries which Switzerland fought this month. Switzerland and France had a meeting to discuss the problems between our nations. I immediately asked a answer about the French attack which surprised whole Switzerland. However the answer was a shame, France attacked us for bonus and more regions. Yes, seems France changed their principles. I offered a NAP to France which they were discussing with their representatives. France accepted to keep peace because Switzerland was the only obstacle between Poland and France. But as Poland requested, we returned the French regions for them and France will be no more a threat. However the Swiss government want to let very clear our goal was not war, we worked for Peace, but we were forced to fight this rogue attack from France. I hope the French people rethink the way they treat Switzerland after this war.



In the other hand, trade with Austria was not easy. I've tried to contact the Austrian government 4 days before congress elections. I knew Austria have a serious PTO threat and that Switzerland would be the only country able to wipe them in time. However both Austrian representatives which I contacted don't gave me a solid answer. Something like: "We don't want to have a congress, but if we get it we will be ready".
The Swiss government even proposed a NE to Austria to make things faster and help them. But we don't got the answer we needed. So the NE was rejected.

2 days before the congress elections, a member of the Austrian government contacted me asking to wipe them, but when he contacted me, Austria had only one region and the NE would take more 24 hours. Many facts interfered in the Swiss decision to don't go war:

1. They still had a strong shield and one region. The shield damage would be extremely high.
2. Slovenia got borders with us. If we fail in Austria (Strong shield), it would be the perfect chance to invade us.
3. Switzerland finished the war with France few time ago.

In resume we tried to help, we were faster proposing the NE, but the problems of communication in Austria don't helped themselves.

However I contacted Austrian government offering a hand to help again to wipe them and don't allow PTOers enter in their country. We still wait response. We will try our best to don't injure Austria, but they need to help themselves too.



Let's review what has been done this month by the FDFA:

- Switzerland signed 8 MPPs.
- Switzerland won all direct wars. (Together with FDD and Presidency)
- We are one of the founder of Root, a alliance which we can trust to lead us for glorious moments.
