Good day America! Tomorrow we have the Congressional Elections. We will watch as the parties engage in competitive elections in a variety of states, vs a slew of new candidates from across the board. With the introduction of a new party, the loss of another and increased competition in various states this election is set to be a good one.

Leathernecks For Congress

This election, there are four Marines actively running for Congress. Each one brings experience and dedication to the job. Spanning two parties, four states and a variety of backgrounds these Marines will bring fresh faces and energy to Congress, something I think every election should see.

Candidate: Ian John Locke IV A.K.A “Douche”

State: Wisconsin
Party: United States Workers Party
Platform: [Congress]

Q: Douche, you’ve been a major party leader in the United States Workers Party for quite some time. How do you think that experience, coupled with serving in the Marine Corps, will help you better perform in Congress?
A: Being a leader in the USWP has kept me, at least tangentially, connected with current events and issues in the eUS, Congress, and the eUS's foreign affairs. Most of the other Executive Board members usually serve simultaneously in the President's cabinet and staying in touch with politics in such a manner has allowed me not to become isolated in the Marine Corps.

At the same time, serving in the Marine Corps and being part of a major party has allowed me to glimpse both sides of many of the recent disputes between the eUS Military and Congress. Serving in both simultaneously has made me far more realistic in my expectations for what can and will happen in Congress.

Candidate: Belldandi

State: Kansas
Party: Federalist Party

Candidate: Sir Valaro Volcrum A.K.A. “SVV”

State: Pennsylvania
Party: Federalist Party
Platform: [Congress] Pennsylvania

Statement: My experience in the military and political sphere of this game is to say the least, expansive. Stretching across three countries and one international alliance, various political parties in two countries, from being a party president, Top 5 Chief of Staff, three term eUS Congressman and serving in the eUS State Department, I bring solid military and foreign policy experience to the table. My goals for the month are to build JCS Forces - Congress interaction to mend fences and build bridges as well as push for greater retention efforts in fresh and innovative ways.

Candidate: John Jay

State: Northeast of Mexico
Party: Federalist Party
Platform: Another Run For Congress

I want to say thank you the the other Marines who were interviewed for their points on issues and for offering some background on themselves. Should these Marines win, they’ll represent the values of the Marine Corps to include Honor, Duty and Sacrifice. Good luck tomorrow Leathernecks!
