An Interview with Trekker Tlumac

There is only one section in eUS News today, and that’s because I was able to get an interview with PotUS candidate; Trekker Tlumac. I hope y’all like it.

[Recks] Lets start with one of the most important questions. Your avatar, why a lizard?

[Trekker] My first avatar was actually a picture of my with aviator sunglasses on. But when I joined the EZC Elite Squad I needed a new uniform. I decided to go with a new avatar. At the time I had a fellow Fed that wore a avatar that was one of the Disney Princesses. I decided to Pascal from Tangled to tease her.

Originally I had planned to change the avatar after a week, but I found that I liked being Pascal. I mean what could be more frightening on the battlefield than a angry lizard?
[Recks] A big topic as of late is the dictator module, what do you make of the new law which can result in blacklisting?

[Trekker] Clarification: Is this the legislation that safeguards the process by requiring Dictators to bend to the will of congress?
[Recks] If you win the election, what would be your biggest goals and objectives as CP?

[Trekker] As CP, my first goal is to do the best I can as CP. If I win, I will be a first time CP following in the footsteps of a successful 5 term CP (3 terms this time around).

My goals and objectives also consist of doing my best to keep the eUSA on a successful track, as it has been as of late. We have full bonuses, and we have relative peace. The training war with Ireland has been great for us. If these peaceful trends continue, I am optimistic that the eUSA can see a period of growth and internal strengthening. And an stronger nation can only be beneficial. Of course I also intend to strengthen our foreign bonds where possible as well.
[Recks] Why did you choose the Feds as your political party?

[Trekker] To be honest. It was less about me choosing the Feds and more about I needed a safer place to go when I left the party I had been in before. I had one friend in the Fed party, so I followed him.
[Recks] What would you call your biggest achievement so far in eRepublik?

[Trekker] That is a difficult question. There are many things that are totally unique and have shaped me in my time here. I would probably have to say that this last term as Federalist Party President was my biggest achievement. Not so much in getting elected, but the service to the Party and MU during that term. It was difficult term to serve, both in game and in real life, and I weathered the storm well. And I was supported by many wonderful people, Fed and non-Fed. It was really enlightening to see who actually gave a damn about me.
[Recks] What would you say was your most embarrassing moment in eRepublik.

[Trekker] That really is a good question. Hmm. There are not too many things in my eRep history that I find truly embarrassing. Everything I have done in this game has led me to this place in time and I am a firm believer that we all walk the paths we must.

I do not have a secret history in a Polska Boy eBand or anything. And I have definitely not professed my undying eLove to anyone only to have it turn to ashes... And I have never really taken criticisms of my character/actions too harshly.

If I had to pick one moment, I guess it would be the first time I tried to set a Combat Order. I was trying to assist the eUSA and had been put in charge of a tiny MU just for the function of setting a CO for eUSA troops. I fumbled around for a few minutes trying to figure out why it was not working.

Later I found out it was a minor quirk in the game mechanics that had not allowed me to set a new CO because all the funds I was supposed to have for it were tied up in the CO the previous Commanding Officer had minutes before handing the MU over to me. I could not cancel his Order because I had not set it. At the time it was embarrassing, because I thought I had screwed up somewhere.
