imo its something that needs to be seriously considered, how will Australia look putting up a CP candidate that is involved with fighting against the very countries that we hope will help Aus fight Indonesia

Well it's a question that I haven't really seen a proper answer from the candidate yet, a denial yes but so far that is all I have seen. I hate CoT and have already vowed to make them pay dearly for backstabbing us, we are TWO and that's the way IT MUST STAY.

most of Australia feels the same way, yet Binda33 fights for CoT every day of the week in her daily orders from the MU

and THAT is what I do not understand.

we have been against CoT for many many months, USA have been part of CoT for many many months.

look at her stats, every day she fights against our allies FOR the alliance that has helped occupy us for the last 6 months

I honestly don't see this as that big of a deal.
Yeah i don't like the idea of an Aus CP fighting for US or CoT at all. But binda has said she'd leave if she is voted in. And i have no problem with an Aus citizen fighting for whom ever they please. So were does that leave a candidate?
Binda also does fight for Aus when we need it and I doubt ST6 could ever manage to get her to fight directly against us. She does have the priorities right end of the day.

As CP you need to have your priorities right at the start of the day, which she said will happen in this regard if she is CP.

While yeah quitting first then running would be 'nice' and 'neat', binda is a 2nd commander of ST6, with i'm assuming here, some responsibilities that are attached to that. To abadon that and your MU cause you are "running" to be become CP seems unnecessary since if she lost she's just got back there and no one would ever overly care or mention it until the next election she put her hat into.

But it did use to be an MU of our long time allies that many Australians have passed through over time. But everything does change over time...

yes over 6 months ago it was a MU from an allied country, ever since that time its daily orders have been for countries allied to those who occupy us, this isnt a one day they are friends next day enemies thing

this is a long term thing, it shouldnt be an issue yet it is, either binda is pro CoT or she is simply after power

CP is power, every candidate is after that power equally.. its intention that's my only concern.. ST6 membership alone just doesn't change my view of assumed intentions

you misunderstand, more power than simply being CP, why be merely CP when you can also play the otherside and have more influence.

thats the problem here, how can someone be loyal to 2 different sides at once, you can only have 1 loyalty when teh 2 possibilities are against each other.

might i remind you if noone had brought the issue up Binda33 would stay in ST6 should she win the election, only after significant condemnation by the populace did she relent in saying if she won she would leave, how exactly is that proving that her loyalty is to Australia over USA?

eerreeheggrrhh... there no proof that i've seen of playing any other side apart from the MU. Chile invasion thing wasn't a deliberate effort by any means. And the two sides of loyalty is to a US MU with connections from the old allied days not CoT with a direct line, yeah its US, which is now CoT, but once it wasn't, yeah a while ago, but loyalty to the MU has to be considered along with the history. An MU history which is generally Pro-Aus.

and lol there is no chance that the people wouldn't bring up this issue, it had been an issue before elections if just more mildly. It barely took hours to be called out once binda's first CP article was out, it wasn't going to slip under any radar.

For a CP i completely agree with you as being an unacceptable and least of all a very inappropriate MU for the situation. But as just a citizen it'd be fine (yay, freedom and all that jazz).. So it's very grey..

And your question does say why not leave before running, even if she had I swear ST6 and the CoT connection due to it would still be brought into play by the exact same people. Just reworded in the past tense.

the thing is its not a suddenly she is running for CP issue, she has been in positions of power while being in ST6 while they are on the opposite side, after being asked about it we were told to get fucked.

not really inspiring confidence, only after severe pressure is she now not fighting against our allies. its a shame it had to come to a CP race to get her to leave a MU which fights against our interests

Membership of S6 was no problem back a whiles when the US & Australia's interests were more in line. And basically they still are - it was the shenanigans of politicians like that fingerbums in the US & also here that caused the problem. I expect that the US will come to its senses & understand that Australia & it have a lot in common. I consider Binda is & always has been loyal to Australia.

USA supports chile and Indonesia in their conquest of our lands, that enough is a good enough reason to say that anyone that fights for them is fighting against us

Long term I can't see the USA staying our enemy, as they are one of the few nations who have generally treated us pretty well, aside from a few exceptions (Fingerguns, I'm looking at you) so I don't really have an issue with ST6. I think that if Binda leaves ST6 if she becomes CP and returns after, that is fine. It's hardly like she has been winning any BH lately anyway. That's my personal opinion though.

USA has had a long term dislike for us basically for being not strong enough to be of help to them

USA looks at its allies based on how useful they are to them, Australia proved less than they had hoped and ditched us. this is the general feeling of alot of US players, more prominent in the ones that hold power though.

*Sigh* This might get me a few boo's and hisses but for impartiality I will have my say damn it.

I'm a little surprised that this needed to be written considering Larni pretty much said the same thing just a few hours earlier. Don't get me wrong freedom of speech and so forth but raising this issue as vocally as you are is just making the issue more of an issue...if you get my drift. Binda has already addressed this issue and if she wins then she will leave and to be fair I have been in MU's that have a fantastic community feel so If that is the case for her then I can see why she wouldn't want to leave until the election result is announced. For me and quite a few people being part of a community you enjoy is the main reason we continue playing this damned poor game.

Now this isn't a biased outlook because I defended Larni's decision to with hold supplies to any War Crew member who's party publicly backs Binda for CP...as I have said it is her MU and her supplies so she has the right to make that decision...same with Binda. I did raise this issue with a couple of people i know who are very well respected in TWO HQ when this was first raised...as i was asked by Binda to work in foreign affairs for her I thought i would get some very early ass kissing in and see what the vibe would be, I was told it shouldn't be an issue. What does worry me is that it could become an issue if we keep raising this repeatedly and then all we are doing is hurting our own chances of TWO support just to win political points, but yes I do see why this would concern you if it hadn't been addressed by Binda.

One last thing, I will decide who I am voting for tomorrow when i re-read all the manifestos but i will add good luck to all candidates.

well.... I covered this already with my article long before this one came out and even I think that doing it twice is counter productive.

yes a CP should be in an Aus MU without the public having to basically force her
