Join the new world

Greetings Mr Minister,
First of all, eFrance MoFA Team thanks you to give us this interview. Could you introduce yourself in a few words?

It's my pleasure that you asked me for this inteview. RL I'm an 18 years student who lives in Hungary. I started to play in 2013 but I stopped it after a few weeks, and I decided to start play again in the october of 2014. Since then, I was 2 times MoFA of eHungary, and I became the MoFA for a few days now, after our congress impeached our previous CP.


What do you like the most in eRepublik?

I like the most that there are people from all over the world. I would hardly have a chance in RL to speak for example, a guy from Peru or Australia, but here in the game, it's not a problem at all. Different cultures and different ways of thinking meet here, and I think this is a pretty awesome thing.


Your CP has been impeached and you almost declared war to Romania, so what happened in Hungary ?

As everywhere, there are internal disagreements in Hungary too. This month a player was elected as the CP, whose party is one of the leader oppositionist party in Hungary. Unfortunately his government members became inactive after a short time, and our community became dissatisfied. It was a really billowy month in Hungary, as you might have seen, first we almost declared a war against Romania, after that, we almost accepted an MPP with them.


Did you had a debate about a potential preventive dictatorship in eHungay ?

There were debates, but I think the major part of our community agrees that we don't need a dictatorship, we are strong enough to protect ourself if a foreign power organize a coup against us.


Your country has a complicated history with Asteria, you were part of it but then you left it and now this alliance is highly criticized in eHungary. So, what it is the issue with Asteria ?

There were lot of conflicts with Asteria, espexially in the end of 2014, but our situation with them is calm now, we have our eternal friends there, such as Serbia or Slovenia, of course we help them as we can, but we can't deny that there are a few countries in Asteria which we have pretty bad relationship.


What kind of image does eFrance have in eHungary ?

We have a positive view on eFrance, I personally can see a lot of new, motivated players there, who are working all day, all night to move their country forward. I also know that there are a lot of internal conflicts there, but despite of this, I think eFrance will be a really significant factor in the eWorld in the near future.


Do you think that eFrance changed recently ?

Your country has changed a lot in the past half year. I remember when there was a huge babyboom in eFrance, and since then your country growing stronger and stronger. There might be players who don't agree with me, but hey... you just have to show them the map and ask them that how many purple territories can they see.


How do you see the relationship between eFrance and eHungary now and in the future ?

I think our relations isn't as good as it would needed. We don't really know each other and you can't trust somebody who you don't know enough.
But of course in the future, with a lot of work, we can strenghten our relations and built up a strong bond between our countries.


And finally, would you like to say some last words to eFrench people ?

Keep up the good work, arrange your internal conflicts, and you can have a bright future in this game 🙂
