A proposal to make North Korea our Natural Enemy was rejected, 14 - 15.
Natural Enemy proposals require two thirds or more of votes to pass.
Our alliance with Russia was renewed unanimously, and our alliance with Malaysia was also renewed, 29 - 3.
A new Speaker of the Diet was elected.
A proposal for a short training war was considered, and found not feasible.
The Ministry of Immigration proposed a new policy on citizenship approvals.
Approximately 300,000 JPY were transferred to the National Bank of Japan, in three steps. (1 2 3)
A proposal to make South Korea our Natural Enemy was rejected, 7 - 24.
Our alliance with the United Kingdom was renewed, 26 - 3.
Several Representatives spoke in favor of this alliance.
The Diet discussed the South Korea/China war.
A new alliance with the eUSA was proposed.
After a proposal to raise import taxes across the board, votes are now open on new import taxes on food, weapons, food raw material and weapon raw material.

This reminds me - Isn't there a bit of a conflict of interrest in being both president and speaker? Not that I fear abuse of power or anything just in principle?
Not that she has any Speaker powers to begin with but Yoshi is right...
I'm not remaining as Speaker. The article just took longer than I'd intended; I meant to post it before the vote.
I'm hoping for an enthusiastic Member of the Diet to be my replacement.
