[CP] Dark Times: Albania Proposes AS on India

Day 1,997, 09:59 Published in India Canada by Alias Vision

Croatia, 8th military power in the New World, 17 MPPs. Over 3k active population.
China, 11th military power in the New World, 19 MPPs. Almost 3k active population.
BiH, 35th military power in the New World, 7 MPPs. 800 active population.
Albania, 42nd military power in the New World, 7 MPPs. Almost 1,400 active population.

Pakistan, 56th military power in the New World, 5 MPPs. 160 active population.

Those are the occupiers and wannabe occupiers. Opposing them is:

India, 55th military power in the New World, 3 MPPs. 300 active population.

What do the first 4 all have in common? Quite a few things as it happens. The most important of course is the fact that they are long time allies.

During Hamturk's time as CP, he negotiated a deal with Croatia. You can read about it here but I'll save you the trouble and tell you that the highlights were the return of 10 regions to India as well as an understanding with BiH.

As of this date, not a single region has been returned. That's actually a theme because other than a few Croats that idle in the Indian IRC room, not a single PM has been returned either. When it comes to India, Croatia simply does not return anything, not even pleasantries.

Today, not only does the silent treatment continue, they've invited their Albanian brothers to come play in our backyard as well.

Why?

The answer to that is easy... because they can. Because in the realm of New World realpolitik, India does not register for them. We are simply not a factor.

The people who elected me keep asking, rightfully, what do we do now? What happens next? How can we win this? It's only the 4th day since I was elected and already I'm rapidly running out of answers.

We can't will a win... math doesn't respond to desire. We can't manufacture more fighters and we can't dream for more resources. Well, we can dream but it won't help us.

India has had months now of walking backwards. Backwards in terms of friends and allies, backwards in terms of making new contacts and seeking new allies.

That can't be fixed in four days. The trouble is, with each new setback, with each new invader... it makes things that much more complicated. India needs to improve its relationship with countries like the US who has a history of helping other nations. But in this case Albanians are their brothers, there will be no traction.

India has an MPP with Chile but so does Thailand. Why does that matter? Thailand is Pakistan's ally and has been tanking for them against India. To help us, Chile would have to tank against Thailand fighters.

It never gets better.

Meanwhile we lose old, powerful fighters to attrition faster than we can replace them. We can never replace them but the youth is not there either. We are short warm bodies in India.

I can hear some of you say cut a deal. A deal implies having something left to lose. What exactly is there left to lose? A deal implies getting something back. None are interested in giving back when it is so easy to take.

The law of average gives me hope that eventually a YES will rise up out of a sea of NO.

I talked in the run-up to the election about the need to learn to be a good ally. Alliances are cultivated and it is never a one way street. For India to learn to be an asset, she needs to at least be given a puncher's chance to make a difference.

My door remains open... talk to me. I will do my best to answer your questions. Any willing to help, your willingness would be the beginning of our path to salvation.

Thank you,
