{CP} CP Update 4 - New congress, change of TW and more

Day 3,049, 07:56 Published in Australia Australia by Aus Prime Minister Office

G'day eAustralia.

I hope you all have been well and enjoying the Easter long weekend. Today I will try and cover a few topics, some will be in brief, as the relevant departments will be releasing their own papers about it, some will be in more detail.

These topics include, the current Training War with eSouth Africa, a future donation law, NAP proposal and also as some of you might of seen the AS proposal by Egypt.

New Congress

Currently the headless chickens are tallying the votes for your new congress, with that you will have a few new faces representing you as well as some of the old faces returning. So please if you have questions or want to raise a topic, reach out to one of them or all of them and ask away, bring up your ideas. As congress is voted in to act on your behalf.

Also once the new congress is sworn in, your government will be proposing some laws. Some of these have been discussed in brief already, but they were held off due to they will effect eAustralia in the longer run. But with the new congress, it is a good opportunity to propose them, so the ministers that will be sitting for the month can talk about it and vote on it.

MPP Israel

As some of you might have noticed, the Israeli MPP will be soon coming up for renewal. After speaking to the current Israeli MoFA Filthy McNasty both countries will hold of renewing the agreement. But do not fear, this is not because of any trouble, but more the fact that Israel would like to use the 10k elsewhere for now. Your government and the government of eIsrael has agreed however, if a threat does become evident, we will work towards renewing the MPP with all due haste (like last term). But until then eAustralia and eIsrael remain close and strong friends.

Other news in brief

Training War - As previously reported, eAustralia was approached by another nation in regards to a training war. Soon the DoFA will be producing an article about this with the terms and conditions of this training war. After it is produce, your government will be asking the new congress to discuss it and see if they agree to it. This has been spoken about with the current congress in brief already.

NAP - Also as previously discussed, a renewal of a NAP we have with eIndo will be published by the DoFA, this will also be voted on by the new congress. While we still have a current standing NAP with eIndo, this will be an updated one to ensure it is fresh in peoples minds and to continue with the harmony Australia has had with it's Northern neighbour.

Donation Law - The DoF will be presenting a donation law to Australia soon. This donation law will be for moving excess funds out of the current government and into the RBA. As many of you know, this is something done once a month (or twice depending on income) to ensure the security of eAustralia's finances. The amount and the reasons, plus the costing's will be all presented.

Egyptian AS Proposal

As many of you might be aware by now, eEgypt proposed a AS law on eAustralia. To some, this might of come as a shock/surprise, to others it might of seemed like Australia is just one of the many countries that eEgypt proposes AS on, but does not vote on them.

Once this proposal was made, your government reached out to the government of eEgypt to seek clarification on the proposal, to see if it had substance, a poor joke or something else (recent AS proposal by them on Canada had diplomatic issues attached to it, hence to see if it was about something else). The people in Egypt that were contacted was the Dictator, the Prime Minister and also the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

They all replied quite quickly and the matter was spoken about. The law proposal was done by them as a joke, to quote one government official "I did it because I missed you". How ever, after your government explained that eAustralia has a different sense of humour and that some congress members took it as an insult, apologies were made.

So fear not eAustralia, eEgypt is not flying down under today. And what was meant to be a 'joke' has been sorted and apologies issued. As we all know, this game is played by different people around the eWorld, some people like trolling others, some like trolling their own country folk, some love to stir the pot for their own means. However like RL, some people can take a joke, some cross the line and others have no sense of humour.

I am sure this is not the first time a county has been trolled, ePeru did it to Australia a few months ago, eUSA just did it recently to eIran, but the way a country conducts it self, shows back bone and strength. Does the country let someone else get under their skin, do they react and bite off more then they can chew or do they just brush it off their shoulder and move on with what is important.

Remember as per normal, if you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a PM or ask in the comments below.
