[CONGRESS] DEC-JAN Session

Day 4,431, 13:56 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Speaker of the House

The CP election is confirmed and despite suspected Prussian interference the results stand and SHA is once again the CP.

This means a new message group requires setting up to accommodate his new ministers and more importantly the end of my period as 'speaker'/person who informs you of what's occurring.

So what did occur in this short session?

Well we had 5 proposals for the MPs to cast their votes upon and the individual breakdown of how they did so;
INDIVIDUAL

1.Impeachment of CP - Wingfield
Proposed by Pannonian Nomad (PCP)

The traditional proposal launched at the end of congress session to allow a verdict to be passed on the then Country President.

Wingfield survived easily.

2.Natural Enemy - Chile
Proposed by SHA

Requested by the Government to restart the Chilean RW that had been stalled by the Irish.

Despite an initial flurry of messages and minor dissension in the cabinet, The proposal was recommended and passed

3.Work Tax - Increase from 1% to 3%
Proposed by Reginald Kray (WRP).

No prior discussion, No idea why it was proposed and for what reason nor any subsequent explanation.

Was heavily defeated.

4.Minimum Wage - Increase from 1GBP to 800GBP
Proposed by Kamron Zaccarius21 (TUP).

Another one that appeared out of the blue at the time.

With no idea of the what, why and where-to-for it was dismissed.

5.Donation - Bank of England
Proposed by Ulsters Finest (PCP)

A routine movement of 400,000cc from the national account to the Bank of England organization under Huey George.

Cash is regularly moved for safety from disreputable persons and only Dapper voted against it.
