Join the new world

So!

I’m running in the CW prelims. CB for CP!

I feel I can bring quite a bit to eCanada, my strengths including a good strategic mind, an ability to step back and look at the bigger pictures and my ability to admit the fact that sometimes I am wrong. (Though that never happens).

I joined the game just over a year ago when my Australian friend on exchange in Spain while I was in Spain on exchange introduced me. From that moment I immediately fell in love with this game and all it’s scraggly politics and fighting mechanisms, but even more, I fell in love with eCanada. I fell in love with CW and I grew to dislike Spain (which is understandable I’d hope.)

I know Canada would benefit from my platform, which is as follows:


- Keep work taxes at 1% until we can re-evaluate affordable rates. Work taxes will not go above 5%

We are currently renting our regions out to Spain, as were the terms of our NAP which granted us a congress this term. Work taxes are an evil that, if they stayed at 25%, would have ruined the entire country and caused the entire population to leave. I am suggesting that work taxes remain at 1%, and then we can increase them A LITTLE in order to create some kind of alternative income in order to be able to pay for MU funding or MPPs.

- Explore all of our new alliance potentials, this includes TWO nations, CoT nations and other independent nations in the world such as China and Israel

I don’t believe that Canada can survive if we’re allied with the nations we are allied with now. ASGARD needed to go, but we can’t survive if we’re allied with nations that are exactly the same size or smaller than us. We need to pick our new allies carefully from a different pool than the one we started with in the beginning. Across the world are ripe potential allies that could help us substantially in our struggle in the New World.

- Seek to maintain our NAP with Spain while continuing to RW territories back. Later on, re-negotiate better terms for Canada

I figure this one is probably self-explanatory. We need our regions back that’s true, but we can’t be paying Spain forever. At the time of re-negotiation, I’d like to negotiate better rates or no rates for our Spanish conquistadores.

- Start MU funding back up again

This is a no-brainer to me. MU funding is a necessity beyond doubt. Canadians need to fight and tanks need to be supplied in order for them to fight. Therefore MU funding needs to start back up. Accompanying this will be measures to makes sure MUs are actually distributing all funds fairly to all members.

- Open a party-executive to party-executive communication channel

In order to make sure that all party’s opinions and thoughts are accurately represented, I’d like to open a second channel beyond that of congress members. This will be a second-opinion channel for all issues regarding Canada at that moment.

- Open a new cabinet position: Minister of Forum Communication

I will confess: I dislike forums. I dislike the fact that Canadian law requires all laws to pass through the forums beforehand, but I understand it’s necessity. Therefore I would like to create a new cabinet position for the Minister of Forum Communications. This person will be in charge of releasing a daily article about what is happening in the forums that day, and will be in charge of giving a report to the CP and his/her cabinet ministers. This is to make time more easily managed and take some tasks off the CP’s hands. Don’t be mistaken, I will go through the forums on an hourly basis, this is just to make sure the CP doesn’t miss anything.
