{ASIO} Immigration and protecting your country

Day 3,085, 05:17 Published in Australia Australia by eAus Department of Information

After some much needed debate and further clarification your Australian congress has passed the ASIO policy for incoming citizens.

Actual votes cast was 13 - yes to 6 - no, this will now see the nominated Stojke take the ASIO Director position.
Stojke can now where required install deputies to help in the background checks as needed and will sit in the position until the end of term or as per clause 5 below.

This new/old process may take some getting used to so it would advisable of any PP who has an internal thread going to remind their members to give Stojke the opportunity to take on the role as required and sufficient time to process an application before any congress member accepts a new citizen pass application.

As PP’s and congress members have had sufficient time to discuss and review the process any other members of the community that feel they need some further clarification should post a comment below or get in contact with their PP through their party thread.

With immediate effect, the following law has been passed and will govern all activity with regard to the processing of Immigration CS requests.

The Legislation

1. ASIO will be under the directive of the Executive Branch and the Country President.

2. On the 7th of each month, the new Country President will nominate to a committee of the top 5 Party Presidents, an eAustralian citizen to be the Director of ASIO for that month.

3. The Nominee will be scrutinized by the committee and after the committee is satisfied with the process, a vote will be made in which a majority is needed for the approval of the Nominee as Director of ASIO.

4. ASIO staff will continue each month, however it is the prerogative of only the Director of ASIO to hire/fire staff.

5. The Director of ASIO can only be relieved of his/her duties during the term by either a majority vote from the committee or by the Country President.

6. All applicants for citizenship should apply using the in-game application and then complete the Google document on this https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Ta5EL4DxcCRNbwL0jNtkfaYAHbLJ5wQcRNf6-5zS1wo/viewform

7. Once the application has been received, ASIO will review the applicant and provide congress with a risk rating. A rating of 3 will be Very High Risk, which means that this applicant has a history whereby their behaviour may not be conducive to Australian values and freedom. A rating of 2 means that there is an acceptable level of risk and a rating of 1 means they are an Australian returning home. Ratings of 3 are not recommended for entry.

8. Details of all immigration requests and assessments will be posted on a weekly report from ASIO, along with any information on whether the request was approved by a Senator.
