You are all dogs!

So, you wake up one morning in an occupied state. State, I mean right, capital S? No, state, I mean. The paralyzed state that throws you back on your primitive responses. You are freaking out, watching the great pink stain on the world map, stronger, richer, more powerful than we can ever take on. You gaze around, looking for straws to cling on to not to accept reality. Wanna know something funny? You will most likely respond like one of these 4 dog races.

First pick one. Just the one you like most...

The annoying little realism-lacking not-listening-to-anyone tiny little dog with superhero complex. Your response will be: we must fight, pick up the guns, give them hell! It’s a war game for crying out loud and we will never surrender! Relax, big hero. This attitude is really cool, but will get you no where on yourself. Self-proclaimed heroism may over-shout your fear, but even with a thousand bombs, rockets and energy bars, you are still a little dog facing a massive troup. You are likely to start rogue RW’s, waste tuns of resources better used in coordinated battle but will you ever admit to it? Never! And, oh yeah, you will most likely want us to leave EDEN today.

The utterly loyal selflessly-devoted-to-the-leader working dog with an in-born urge to protect the weaker members of the group. Your response will be: we must be prepared, regroup and rebuild reserves, coordinate our efforts, and wait for orders - and, oh no, never go rogue! But beware: even strong leaders have flaws, so never follow in the blind! And getting an occasional BH medal, come on, no one will blame you for it - saying this for you are most likely saving up bazooka’s for ages since you did not get orders to use them. Oh, and you might be leaning towards negotiating regions with Poland again. Secretly admiring how they are organized.

The relaxed-and-only-gets-in-action-when-convinced-he-must autonomous hunter that may or may not follow orders as he sees fit. Your response will be: told you so, we didn’t stand a chance. Now, let’s rethink this, there must be other ways to outsmart their dumb overkill power - and until you see the light you just sit back and make some more excel-sheets. You are a strong headed individual, probably smart player with a lot of strength, rank points and BH medals for your age and division. You might - or might not - step up for the country. As you are open to either way leaving EDEN or join EDEN HQ. That is, if they ask you. But you are too stubborn to ever side up with Poland.

The frisky always-ready-for-some-fun-and-action, reliable, friendly-to-all dog no-one can say no to. Your response will be: oh well, maybe we do not have our regions, but we can still have a great community! And you are right, it are the people that make this game fun. You will probably not even fight every day, if you got a BH it was probably by accident as you fight for friends and causes - and you might very well be clueless on the difference between RP, XP and SP. But you are a true IRC-tiger and made many (international) friends. If you would ever consider leaving the alliance, it would be because you feel personally let down. Kidding, you never would.

So, what’s my point? I have two, actually. First, whatever dog you resemble the most, you should be glad there are others not alike you. We should listen to the Basset hounds that remind us to play our own game, we should be glad to have Shepards to organize our troups and actually follow orders, we need to pick up the spirit from the Jack Russels and have the Golden Retrievers keep us together.

Secondly. Of course we are no dogs. We are the Dutch, and the Dutch are never afraid to say how they really feel.

Hope you enjoyed one not politically motivated article in pre-election time. I know I did.

Thanks for reading!
