Why can't diplomacy be king with eUK?

Day 1,501, 14:39 Published in Ireland Ireland by Death and Taxes

Look, with 800 years of history of the worst kind, juxtaposed into a game of pixels where no-one gets hurt, it's hardly surprising that relationships between our two sovereign countries would be........problematic at worst.

As in any economy, scale and size are the principle differences, and even as a neophyte, I can see that the UK has enormous advantages over us in terms of population, economy and resources. It is an uneven contest, and considering the English intolerance of bullying and their inherent support of the underdog, all the worse then, that they have inverted these tenets to become themselves the bully.

Their recent comeuppance therefore, gives a certain amount of satisfaction, but this is temporary. The UK will return again, and unless diplomatic efforts are intensified, will revert once more to the John Bull inflicting wipe after wipe of eIreland. This benefits no party.

Unfortunately, a quick peruse through the eUK forum indicates that this will be a near impossible task to achieve. For example from Prime Minister Thomas765

Anyway, it appears as though we're being gangbanged again. We're down to one region and I'm trying my best to convince ONE to fight for us but the orders sheet is yet to be updated. An RW should start in Northern Ireland soon and we all know Ireland is so great at holding on to conquered regions (see Denmark, New Hampshire and their loss of recent possessions).
