WHS - Why I left the ILP

Day 2,803, 11:18 Published in Ireland Ireland by Winston Hope Smith

Hi all

This article may only be of interest to a few players and for them I write it.

You may be aware the I have recently left the ILP (thanks to the Left Hand for allowing me to bunk there for now)

Why...

Well for a start it has noting "directly" to do with the recent fracas over the constitution.

My views on this are know...it is passed and I accept that. I am disappointed that the process could not be done without abuse and without Moo allowing people to get abused because of his mistakes but as for the document, I think it could be better but a decision was made. It is law until the K&*ts deem otherwise.

No I left the ILP for 2 main reasons

1. I am unhappy that the Party seems to be straying from the ideals we ALWAYS UPHELD. No longer does it hold the line wrt fairness and opposing the forces of darkness here. You know the ones where if you disagree they target you and attack you aka K&^ts No the policy of appeasement is now in vogue. I appear to be in a minority in asking to hold the line.

2. The Party is now populated with non-leftists. I always loved the fact that the Party was the home of eIrish "eCommunists, eSocialists, eIndependents, eAnarchists & all eLeftists in general"

Non leftest were always in the ILP but NEVER was the policy changed to accommodate them. This is now changing imho and soon it will be just another mish mash of people in eIreland with no unifying force.

What made the ILP strong was that it held the high ground EVEN WHEN it was upopular & we had a uninify idology holding the core grouping together.

I have nothing against those new members and I wish the Party well.

I beseech that the leadership reinforce the ideals we always held true and if so, if you want me, I'll return.

Finally as usual I am once again been attacked by those whose level of debate is just above the football terrace level. You know who I mean...to them I say this
