Recent Polity has me confused.
Why did we adjust our import rate to 1%?
This is probably the silliest thing I have seen. Our market can easily get flooded (especially with tanks). We need to protect those who contribute to Ireland. Not hurt them.
Raise our Import tax at least 3% more. This will give us Irish producers a fighting chance.
I really don't get why our VAT is so low and just hurts the Irish Coffers rather than empowers them.
I know I'm not a senator, and haven't written anything in a while, but please pay attention to this and increase those import taxes. All your are doing is making it easier for other nations to flood our market and hurt the people you want to protect the most.

as long as there is moving tickets and us markets is flooded with offers prices will be lower and our production will sell slowly.
for me personally it has little effect as no one anyway buy my products here and i have to sell it lower on foreign markets.
Tax rates were all dropped to prevent Moldova from capitalizing on Irish taxes if we were occupied for a length of time.
it was to counter the occupation mate : no profit for the invader.
