As I am currently a bit pre-occupied with RL obligations in the family area (Easter holiday) I will have to delay my article on the results of my second quiz for a few days. However, in the mean time I will update you on the vote I held among the female responders to the free answers given by the males.

For every question, I made a shortlist of answers I found remarkable enough to present to the jury. They chose which answer should be rewarded, as well as gave their reason for nominating this particular answer. Time to hand out some quite unique rewards...

Many guys tried to be respectful and kind in their answer, but it shows the majority of the women prefer a stupid answer with a (weird) sense of humour. The answer proves the stupidity of men being prejudiced and suspicious (calling us a male friend's multi too many times). But maybe, he’s got a point here too. Women are like 007. Licensed to kill with charm and elegance. Playing eRep on our supergadget light laptop - while cooking. Some of us even admitted always having felt like an FBI-agent, chewing bubble gum on crime scenes and wearing sunglasses at night.

Question nr 2: When it comes to military focus, men think that women:

Yes, we think he is giving an accurate observation. Backstabbing is common in love and war. While women dominate the backstabbing because of love category, men (especially trolls) with a big mouth excel in the other. Ingame, women tend to have little more empathy. That makes us understand nonverbal aspects of a discussion and reconsider them more. In your defense: we are more protected by the community from being trolled or from flame-comments, while boys are left to deal with it.

A wise and insightful comment from a guy who treats women as equals. And yes, women are indeed capable of anything. Like men are. We fulfil many jobs in any ministry, which at least proves something about our capabilities. But of course, we would be the first to admit that women too can be lazy, failing their ministry. This says more about motivation in general - no matter what race, gender, religion, political viewpoint or color of socks you are wearing. A caveman answered to this poll, that's unusual in a strategy game like eRep. Did we feel offended? No, most of us could actually appreciate this chauvinistic joke. Stereotype answer, completely sexist, what else is there to say? Knowing curerofthought though, I have to guess he sent it in just going for this medal...

Jury rapport:
By some of us regarded as the most predictable answer by far. Men are, well, men. Or, as one of the ladies wrote down (based on experience): no boobs no vote. The answer once again shows that men only think about sex. So, rather than pretending not to, we want to reward Olv007 for being honest about it. Maybe, he even opened up some new perspectives for the publishers among us. At least one of us is considering adding a RL picture, as it would guarantee that guys might reach the end of her articles.

Question nr 6: Men think that women on the IRC:

We were a little bit divided here, as some of us admitted to it being probably true, while others think it’s just funny - as long as “the guy doesn't believe it, otherwise it's scary!”. But in the end the majority found it funny and original enough to get the "wait wut?" award.

Question nr 7: Men imagine that women with impressive high rank or strength:

With 50% of the votes: are unusual and thankfully in a minority. The world be a worse place if women also started having the false ego trips us guys get out of virtual ranks and str!

What to think of this? Well, he is right about women with high rank and str. to be in a minority. But - hello - we are a minority... We think he is very mistaken about it being unusual, as some of us have been playing eRep for a long time and in fact outrank most of the guys. Then, he is very right about men’s ego issues and the fact that you make pretty poor role models. But, he is also very wrong about our military ambitions. So, brace yourself, the eRep amazons are coming! *giggle*
