I had read that interview and it clearly states that eRep is at EOL (End of Life) state and merely maintained.
And I can't imagine a game (Tactical Heroes) being iPad exclusive (not even iPhone)
Main point of that interview was them missing Clash of Clans etc mobile P2W gaming frenzy which means eRep doesn't worth the trouble as pie is small no matter how tight they squeeze players.
Seems that way. And I prefer old game model (aka V1) for EOL instead of everyday battlefields farming, which is the only fun here for nowadays. As for me, the previous version was a bit more complex compared to more aggressive today's p2w.
But... well, I suppose, it's more profitable for them at current state. So words are useless.

Well, this game is getting worse every day, very rarely when they introduce something it's actually something meaningful (and maybe now we can see why, they're not focusing on eRep anymore)... Obviously, the game has to end some day, no one expected (I guess) it will run forever...
Also, the number of players playing this is declining by a huge rate and it's clearly seen, you don't even need eGov or such tools to notice it, just come to IRC and you'll see it's like a wasteland... and I remember those times when Serbia alone could gather more than 800 soldiers on a channel, 200-300 at literally any time.
Anyway, I can't say I won't be, at least a bit, sad when it's all over. This is the only game that I've played for 5+ years... and I've met some great people here.
