I'm a Rebel
I found myself asking this question yesterday. I was confused, so confused. I had just finished reading The Odyssey of Cody Caine and I started to think. I was kind of getting bored with my eLife. It was the same old same old every day. I'd skim through the latest articles, have a conversation with someone, fight, check in on the fed forums and every few days I'd write an article.

When I thought about it I realized there were options. I didn't have to be a Fed4lyfe. One of the many great things about this game is all the opportunities you have to succeed. I really wanted to take on a new challenge, so I did.

I was very inspired by Cody's travel to Australia. I knew I could be better than what I already was, I knew there was a way to make myself more useful. I've always been interested in leadership and high positions, unfortunately not enough people have ever voted for me 😛.

What I ended up doing was joining the Revolutionary Party. I always told myself that if I were going to leave the Feds I would join this party. I truly believe it will replace the NCP in a few months as a top five party. I also decided that while here I would run for Party President. It appears as if I'm running unopposed.

On the Revolutionary Forums I wrote this as my platform:
Hello to all members of the party. I'd like to start off with some basic information about me.

I used to be a Federalist. In fact, I was a Fed just a couple hours ago. I read Cody Caine's latest article and decided I needed to do something different in eRepublik. Things were getting stale, so I decided to explore other opportunities. I have always been a friend of Cody's so I've decided to join the party to try to improve it.

In a message to Cody this is what I said I would like to do this month as PP:

1. Increased activity on IRC and the forum
2. At least 25 members
3. Forming a Revolutionary Newspaper(I know you have one but this would be for the party)
4. The feds have Vice PP's and political directors, I'll make some sort of cabinet

I'll explain to you now a little bit more in depth on the above goals.

Increased activity on IRC and the forum- I would like to see the IRC channel become a non stop place for chat throughout the day. The channel would be open to people of all parties, but it would only represent our party. This would also get the party public recognition which is necessary for the growth of a party.

At least 25 members- This number will go up and down throughout the month. Once we get 30 members we are a top 10 party which gets us on the list of parties. If everyone does their part this will be a piece of cake.

Forming a Revolutionary Newspaper- Yes Cody Caine has Revolutionary Times, but this would be an official paper of the party. If someone who doesn't have a paper could make a paper strictly for the party it would be greatly appreciated. I could provide the 2 gold. If someone has a newspaper already, but they don't use it then we may be able to transform that into our paper.

The feds have Vice PP's and political directors, I'll make some sort of cabinet- Basically what I would have in the cabinet is a person to handle articles and a person to help recruit. I want to make recruitment a responsibility of all players, but this one could give some information to all new members and all people who wish to become members. I will provide them with a welcome message to send to newer players.

I have not yet decided whether or not I will try to be a two time Party President. It is all dependent on how much progress we have made, and if I feel I need to continue something that I have started. What I do know is that I look forward to serving you for the next month in all that I do.

I believe I have decided that I will most likely serve as a two time Party President. Things can only be started in one month, they can't be finished. This is my next great challenge in eRepublik, and I look forward to seeing this party grow and prosper.
