UIP PP Candidate Interview: J03 Freyer

This is an interview I conducted with UIP Candidate J03 Freyer. Please enjoy!

1. What makes you feel that you are ready for this position?

I feel I am ready because I have been with the UIP for almost a year, and I have been a part of UIP PP's cabinets for almost 9 or 10 months now. This can only bring the knowledge and skill of what a PP needs.

2. Why do you want to run for UIP PP?

When member Pheno Sony, who I was rallying behind, dropped out, I saw a lack of leadership. I know I can bring a fun welcoming environment that still gets done when it is supposed to. The UIP needs a leader, and I am that.

3. How are you going to be different from the previous PPs if you get elected?

Well, all PP's are different from one another in personality, and how they go about things. I like to joke around, and I will be more loose on things. However, I will have different issues to deal with such as getting a new UIP constitution enacted and getting more newbs learning positions within the UIP.

4. What do you feel about the current state of the UIP?

I feel that after a small morale drop off, we have recovered just fine, but I think that the UIP just needs a guy in the PP spot to give them some confidence and rally behind them. Many players have real lives, and with Summer here many are leaving to go on vacation. This leaves some temporarily inactive players in higher up positions.

5. What will be the first thing you will do as PP?

I will be talking with my Secretary of Elections about getting quality, active members in Congress. I don't feel that numbers matter too much, and I want to increase Congressional retention because I know (at least in recent history) it has been terrible.

6. How are you different from all the other PP candidates?

Well, I have been in the cabinet longer than any other candidate up there. So experience is one. Next, I believe I have well set goals that have a clear message in place. I feel that other candidates have goals that say what they are going to do, but they do not go in depth enough.

7. What are your goals if you become PP?

Place active members in Congress, enact a new constitution, maintain Top 5 spot, have temporarily inactive cabinet members step down and allow newer ones that are active take place, continue working on the UIP Militia, and finally replace all outdated newb guides with V2 current guides.

8. How will get more people to become active?

Tbh, there is no way to get some people active, but my Chief of Staff and I can get newbs active. My pick for the Chief of Staff is a very competent man whom I will not reveal the name of, but I feel using the UIP sorting hat he will get many young UIPers active and get them into positions that interest them. This will increase activity because these are in fact positions that interest them.
